I just got drinks here, but none of the taps were out and there was a good selection of beers along with cider, mead, cold brew coffee, seltzers, etc. I also appreciated the boardgames they have available, on the lighter side mostly, but Cascadia is about the right weight imo

We were there for a private party. It was amazing to have the place to ourselves. The food is typ bar food, but was clearly marked. The vegetarian dishes were clearly identified and staff was there to assist with any questions or needs. There was a large beer selection, but they also had seltzer, pop, and wine. The best part was seeing everyone enjoy the games provided. The shuffle board was a huge hit!

North End Taproom is one of my favorite places in Royal Oak. They have a great beer selection and the kitchen makes tasty food.
I rated one star for āatmosphereā because they really need to make this place 21+.
My husband and I were here last night and it was absolute pandemonium due to the children that were present:
1. We had to move seats when we got our food because the group next to us had 3-4 kids that would not stop high-pitched shrieking. At a playground or the beach? Love it. At a restaurant? Inside voices, please.
2. This toddler-aged girl was permitted to wander around the taproom clutching a GLASS to her chest. Guess what shattered all over the floor 20 mins later.
3. This other little toddler girl was brought over to the bathroom area. All of a sudden, we see her wandering alone, bawling and screaming, face beet-red. Dad wanders over a minute later.
This was all happened within about 45 minutes, too!
This is a lovely establishment and I understand they want the revenue the parents are spending, but I think weāre going to put this place on ice until it stops being a daycare center.

We love this bar! The food is always fantastic and well priced. I love that I can choose the amount of drink I would like as I prefer smaller portions. Itās also a kid friendly location, as long as you arenāt there too late, the place often has many kids and families around. Itās for sure our favorite place in Royal oak

There's a great selection of beverages. Unfortunately I'm more of a wine drinker and there was only three selections in that area so I was a little bit disappointed but the food was amazingly good and tasteful.
A bar without bartenders may speak about where we're at as society, but implications aside, this was amazing. You can sample as many on tap options as you want, pay by the ounce, and not be awkwardly asked what you want while looking at a completely unfamiliar menu. Great variety of fun, local beer/misc beverage options. Bonus: the place is absolutely adorable.
