Left Foot Charley: Traverse City, MI We chose the Korjinte/Sumatra cinnamon for this cider. It is stronger, more spicy and textural than Ceylon (some would say Real) cinnamon. The bark of this shrub was aged in the cider to impart that gentle spice and warmth you know so well. A touch of sweetness balances the flavors and the bubbles just make it fun.

Mad Meg (Farmhouse Ale)
Jester King Brewing - Austin, TX "Provision Ale" is a rough translation of the French term "bière de provision", which was sometimes used to describe special beers that were suitable for extended storage and aging. Brewed from relatively simple, straightforward ingredients, Mad Meg is golden colored and quite strong, at over 9% ABV. Its palate intertwines delicate farmhouse esters with earthy, spicy hops and clean malt flavors. The name "Mad Meg", refers to a peasant woman from Flemish folklore, also known as "Dulle Griet" or "Dull Gret", who leads an army of women to pillage hell. She's famously depicted in Pieter Brueghel the Elder's 1562 painting by the same name.

Interesting place, you get a wristband, then pay by the poured ounce for drinks via self-service taps. Wouldn't recommend drinking non-alcoholic drinks as you pay a bit for them. Only had their sweet potato fries, so cannot speak much to the menu.

They have tables running D&D on the 4th Tuesday of the month, so that is fun.

It had a great casual atmosphere. I had a burger, fries, and sweet potato pie. Burger was cooked perfectly with steak fries. The sweet potato pie was spot on, I got a slice for me and one to go and ate them both. I'll definitely be back.

The food is mid and that staff seemed burdened that we needed to have them explain how things work. That said, it is very family friendly. It’s an easy spot to take kids and the beer selection is good.
