Was out drinking with my roommate dancing and getting drinks and was told we were both too drunk and needed to go. We were drinking and having fun we were not causing any trouble or being aggressive I don't understand these stupid ass bars in royal oak.

I was in town with friends and wanted one last beer for the night. We walked into this joint and had the great pleasure of interacting with Sofia who was behind the bar. She was amazing. Even stayed open past closing making us laugh.

Bouncer put me out because the bartender was a hot head. I tried to get her attention for the girl behind me and she literally told me to “SHUT UP” very unprofessional.She had an older woman’s face with a dull blue or purple highlight in her hair. Won’t be coming back. I’ve never been kicked out of a bar until last night. The cover charge was $10 and my drink was $15. I literally took two sips of my drink but at least the cover charge was refunded.

The owner argues with the customers. The owner is SO unprofessional. Do NOT come here, it’s a big mistake. Just look at him arguing at some of the reviews on here & he takes no accountability. This place is gross on the inside and they treat their customers terribly.

*Edit: the website that this bar was a part of for the bar crawl stated it was until 2 AM. I will be letting the organization know about this. The only 2 to 7 time range was for checking in for your wristbands. NOT the entire crawl.* Just purchased a Royal oak bar crawl ticket and this place is not letting people in without a cover fee. (The whole point of the $30 ticket FOR THE HALLOWEEN BAR CRAWL was for COVER FEES.) BUT the security guards won’t let us in unless we paid an extra $10 per person. What a sham. It’s check in from 2-7pm. (That’s just check in NOT THE WHOLE bar crawl.) the website STATED we can enter anytime between 2pm and 2am. THIS bar is NOT on the same page as the Royal oak bar crawl organization. The website states from 2pm from 2am. The leader of the organization needs to check in with this place. Very disheartening.

O’Tooles is the best!! My friends and I love this bar and we always request Ashley as our server because she’s the best there is!!! The food here is amazing and so are the drinks! 10/10 recommend!!!

Charged me a ten dollar cover and told me to pee outside because the mens bathroom was closed off. I told a male security worker thats illegal and to let me use the womens bathroom and he yelled at me and got agressive. This place is out of control. Terrible place to be in Royal oak.
Walked in last night with a group of people around 11:30pm and I ordered my first round of drinks and my total came out to be $50 dollars so I gave the bartender $100 dollars and she gave me back $45 thinking I was drunk. I looked at her and laughed because I would of gave her more than that as a tip loll

"I recently visited O'Tools and was surprised by the price of the Tequila Sunrise. At $14.54, it was significantly higher than what I'm accustomed to paying for a similar drink. While the drink itself was enjoyable, the price felt a bit steep, especially considering the automatic 20% tip. The thing is, if the drink price were more in line with what I expected to pay, I almost always will leave at least a $5 tip. I don't expect to return.
Had I been asked, I would have requested well Tequila, but I wasn't asked, and I never expected to get top-shelf.

The menu has gotten strange. I just wanted a basic burger but no. And what is this black bean burger wrap? Thank goodness for the beautiful wait staff or this place would be boring. Upgrade the menu and I might come back with my buddies!
