Wasn’t impressed. Food was bland - all the same red sauce with different noodles. Appetizer was cold, they replaced and still cold. No bread and for the prices should have been. Definitely won’t be back.

Food was excellent. However, the extra charge for tableside parts was a extremely pricey for what we got.

Overall we were disappointed. The server was great and the food did have some bright spots but we are unlikely to go back. We went on a Saturday night and were immediately seated. The server was right there to check on us and got us some bread. The bread was hot and really good - that set our expectations. We ordered the Fritto Misto which was supposed to include eggplant but instead had zucchini - not a big deal but you should let your customers know about switching ingredients from what the menu says. My wife got the Chicken Piccata which had a good flavor but the chicken was a bit tough ( weird right?). I had the Eggplant Rollatini which was delicious but the pasta it sat on was way overcooked to the point of being mushy. The side of Broccoli Rabe did not have roasted garlic - it had large pieces of barely cooked garlic which lingers with you a long time - it also did not have any parmigiano on the dish although the menu says it is supposed to.
Again the server was great, the food came out in a timely manner it just was not executed well or to the menu description. The ending impression is it was ok - but we don't need to go back.

Thought trying out this place for a family dinner on Christmas would be enjoyable - I WAS WRONG

The kitchen service was terrible - and the server did nothing except make excuses

The orders came out individually, not as a meal for those seated - and then on to dessert

The "home made" deserts were frozen and the coffee maker was broken -then all of a sudden, watery coffee was served 5 minutes or so later.

Asked to speak with the manager, yet the assistant manager represented the manager -

A very disappointing experience, no need to go back and cannot recommend this place to anyone

First of all, I wanna say that Axel was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing and he has nothing to do with the horrific service score. We got to the restaurant at 6:25 and we were not served our meal until 8:10 PM. Axel apologize profusely gave us three plates of bread and did everything that he could while we waited.

The food was excellent. I can’t say a bad word about it, but the service was absolutely horrific. They were out of soup, they were out of fettuccine and they were out of eggplant.

This restaurant is overpriced and the service was slow. We waited 45 minutes to get our food. Our waiter kept telling us that our food would arrive in 2 minutes. Finally he said the cooks had to remake one of the dinners. We will not be eating there again.

We went to dinner early with two young kids. The pizza for the kids came quick but my husband and my entree took forever. When we said something to our waiter, he brought my food but was still going to be a wait for my husband. After so long, our kids were having a melt down so we asked for the bill, and for my husband’s meal to be boxed. We still had to wait for my husband’s meal even after paying. Once we got it home, there was paper in the meal, not sure if it was being warmed up and they forgot to take the paper off. Overall, so disappointing. The meals aren’t cheap and the food was mediocre. So disappointed. Our waiter wasn’t bad but the overall service was not up to par. Would definitely not come back again.

I ate here for the first time last night because my partner raved about her previous experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time around. Spent $140+ on a meal for a terrible experience. Waiter was friendly, however, he spoke the entire time and did not allow us to enjoy our meal in peace. We just wanted to have a nice date night out celebrating our anniversary. Our check was already rung up without our knowledge, meanwhile we were still ordering. When the check finally came around, it wasn’t even our check. The waiter gave our check to a different table. Next thing I know, I’m having to do math at my table to deduct and equal out my total. We had to pay on someone else’s tab and they added our additional items to it. Finally, by the time dessert made its way around, everyone around us was preparing for the ‘night scene.’ They turned the lights off and were drawing the curtains around us. The manager was aware of this and did not approach us, or say anything regarding this matter. For the amount paid, we desired a totally different experience.

this used to be my go to spot for dinner. sadly that's forever changed because the last time I went here the service was absolutely horrible and the bartenders had the worst attitude especially the guy with the pony tail with the sleeve tattoo. worst. part is they weren't even busy at all and the drinks took forever to come out im talking more than 30-40 min....never again

Summary: all around slow service, good food, nice atmosphere... Probably not good for parties greater than 4

Had a reservation for 8, and we were seated promptly with two servers for us. However, the service ended up suffering greatly. Drinks took a long time to arrive from the bar, we would've ordered more drinks if we had the opportunity to. It was 1.5hrs before our food arrived, and while all the individual entrees arrived, the table side spaghetti did not. We asked our server and one other individual about the status of it, and we still waited. The server even made a comment, "well I certainly didn't just ring in half the order!" The majority of the entrees were good, but the chicken that came with the pesto dish was dry. Faith the manager came by making her rounds, asking how everything was....we did politely mention the delay of the table side spaghetti and she nodded her head and said, "hmm, well, I hope you guys are enjoying your evening and let me know if there's anything I can do for you." Completely disregarded the service failure we brought to her attention. Also, it was clear we were celebrating a birthday...I included it in our reservation notes and my friend mentioned it to our server. There was even a present on the table. No one acknowledged it or offered anything. I thought for sure after the delayed drinks which the server acknowledged and the delayed table side spaghetti, perhaps a slice of cake for the birthday boy?? We all left disappointed with our experience. I'd be hesitant to return, and I'd offer words of caution to anyone who asks me about Pastaio.

My first impression of the restaurant was positive—the atmosphere was pleasant, and the waiter was polite. However, things took a turn when I received my meal, which was so salty that I couldn’t eat it. When the waiter checked in and I mentioned the issue, he simply acknowledged it and left without offering to replace the dish or suggest any alternatives. Later, when the check arrived, they had taken 50% off the cost of my meal, but the gesture felt incomplete. I also noticed that the waiter politely bid farewell to other customers as they left, but we did not receive the same courtesy. I'll leave it to others to decide if this experience reflects professionalism and good manners.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for years despite my skepticism from the reviews and finally did. Suffice it to say the negative reviews were accurate. It took forever to get our food, the carbonara was quite bland and my second piece of chicken was pink/undercooked which I didn’t discover until I got home (not that it would have mattered with how slow service was). The portion sizes were good but overall I have no desire to go back with how average the food was for the high prices.

Everything was good except for the music. Big thumping house music it's not what I want to I have to compete with while trying to enjoy dinner with my husband.

I hate to say it, but for that reason alone we won't be back.

The scratch-made pasta and atmosphere of the 3rd floor patio are excellent. However, for this price point, both the fungi pizza and bolognese need another texture such as another veg in order to compete against other Italian restaurants.

This place is amazing! We had a large party and the service didn’t skip a beat. Everyone absolutely loved their meals. The pasta is homemade and delicious and sauces are incredible. Great spot for every occasion whether casual or a celebration.
