I used to work at the Redcoat in West Bloomfield and had a hankering for some redcoat food. Not much has changed, the coleslaw is still perfect and the brassiere burger is still juicy, our server was attentive and patient and I don't know why I don't come by more often.
I used to come here with a boyfriend and loved it. When we broke up, I missed it. I live 75 miles away, so don’t get there often, but have introduced it to some girlfriends who love it also. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had there, but my favorite is the salad with the terrine! Don’t suppose you deliver to the Lansing area?!?!?!?
Great staff, friendly and attentive, atmosphere was laid back, red and relaxing. Tried their noted burger and found it meh…nice slaw and bun but lacking in character and $16 for a burger and pickle slice means that the burger itself is a standout, not a benched has been. Overall a nice experience, tho.
