It is "closed for the season" until April. Considering none of the other locations do this and the place has a drive-thru, well... I know when other restaurants suddenly close, it's usually because they were forced to.

Ok, this is all about the marketing and not much about the food. Like all of the food is just plan average at best. I think that Micky D's is better.

The service was pretty slow, i was the only customer there and i waited almost 15 minutes for a medium milk shake.

Ordered ahead of time in the app a burger, fry and drink. A standard meal. Gave pick up time of 15 minutes out so they had enough time to prep as well as I had time to get there I arrive 1 minute ahead of pick up time and pull into a spot and update my location in the app. After 15 minutes my name disappears from the screen and press the button and someone says are you the phone ahead order. We are short staffed it will be out soon. This occurs as one car after another places orders in the drive through and are able to leave. After 25 minute wait my food is finally delivered and it is all cold. Really disappointing as I really like the convenance of ordering through the app.

Usually the food is good last visit I was the only one on the drive thru and I waited over 15 mins. When I got my food I pulled into a car hop and went to eat my lunch. The food was cold ? The bacon was burnt there was so much mayonnaise barely any lettuce the top of the tomato with still the stem on it . I was highly disappointed I took 4 bites and then threw it away . This is why people dont want to spend their money eating fast food anymore . I spent 14$ on the #3 combo . I could of went to Westboro market for 1$ more and gotten a prime rib meal . I hope sonic hears this, your overcharging for a burger, at least it could be fresh like you state. That burger was cooked and left on the side of the grill guaranteed my tater tots were old and cold . I was the only one in the drive thru and waiting 15 mins. Unexceptional. When u hire people who don't care to work for you it shows. Royal oak location. And they don't answer the phone ever??

Horrible customer service. We stopped here around 9:15pm and pulled into a carport. After a few minutes, somebody came on the speaker and said that we had to go through the drive-through. So we turned around and went through the drive-through where our order was taken promptly. However, I don't know if they were shortstaffed or they had new people, but all you could see in the window were two people milling around. One young lady was taking money but she was also walking back-and-forth through the kitchen so I'm not sure if she was also helping prepare the food. Unfortunately it took nearly five minutes for each car to get the food. On the positive side the food was very hot.

Cleanliness is important for a restaurant. The drive through window is so smudged that it makes me wonder what is going on inside...food is ok for drive through - very slow however - even when not busy.

I guess I should have checked Yelp before coming but it was a last-minute decision as my husband and I had a brief window of kid-free time and didn't want to feel rushed if we grabbed a bite to eat at a sit down restaurant. Well, Sonic was a poor, poor choice. ZERO other cars at the carports (I know that's the wrong term but I forget what term they use). We ordered two chili dogs and a cheeseburger. No combo meals. Just those three items. SEVENTEEN MINUTES LATER, an empty-handed employee comes out to apologize and says that it's half off cheeseburger night so they ran out of meat. She reassured me that the rest of the order was ready but they were just waiting on that. I asked how long it would be and she said 10 minutes. So... that would be 27 minutes to make a cheeseburger? And I don't want two chili dogs that have been sitting out for 10+ minutes... I asked if I could get a refund and she said she would get a manager. The manager came out and apologized, reiterated the explanation, then told me a refund would appear on the card 24-48 hours. I don't frequent Sonic regularly, so I wasn't aware of the promotion but one would think that if an establishment offered a weekly deal such as half off cheeseburgers, the establishment would be prepared to meet the requests of the consumers. During those 17 minutes I was talking with my spouse and using my phone so I admit I wasn't truly paying attention but we didn't noticed more than two cars in the drive through (they weren't even there at the same time), and when we left there was only one other car in a port. Both employees were nice and professional. They seemed sincere.

This location is not at all timely with orders. I've waited 20+ mins on several occasions and don't go there anymore.

Terrible service...this is my third time in the past few months going to this location and each time it gets worst...this location use to be great when it first opened

Currently on FaceTime with my friend who moved to Michigan from Texas. Along with other rants, he was utterly disgusted with the amount of effort his cherry limeade caused him. In Texas, sonic employees are sensible enough to not put the fruit on the bottom of the beverage. I understand he's someone who drinks limeade but lime lovers have have feelings too.
