I love this place. I can always find everything very easily. And the staff is great. But seriously Meijer, get it together with your bathrooms. This is ridiculous.

Great place to shop meijer usually has better prices and in stock as well. Just some of the checkout people has to be changed because some are not very friendly . And I hope the top people at meijer see this and change . Because we need to feel like we are welcomed and part of the meijer family to be loyal . And please fix all the scanners so i know the prices so i can make a better decision. This is very important to have and also have the stock people have a better attitutude and not purposly block iles and get them off there phones it makes the store look bad. Maybe stock after 12 pm ? It would help sales I think because If I cannot get thru an ile or feel not able to O wont buy then.

The app doesn't work to locate items. The self check demands it prints a physical receipt even with digital selected. Probably going back to the app being garbage. The AI parsing of the self check is trash and requires constant employee intervention because it can't understand 1 item scanned and 1 item in the bag is the correct number of items. Every time I think about switching to shopping at meijer I remember very quickly why I don't.

The Royal Oak store seems short staffed. It took a while to get help at self-checkout and several sale items were out of stock or misplaced.

Needed specific ingredients for a French recipe (pearl onions). Asked in produce. Thet didn't have any. You can also get them in cans or jars. I asked 3 different clerks stocking shelves. All3 sent me to different aisles. I went to customer service and asked if she could look up if they had it in jars or cans. She said she could look it up if I could tell her the bar code. WHAT! So wouldn't be able to tell you if they had ketchup, or any non-produce item unless you had a bar code. Who knows bar codes. Ridiculous.
