Very quick, friendly staff this evening. I only ordered a smoothie excluding one ingredient due to an allergy.After ordering, I was distracted in an email and may have missed my order being called out for pick up but they walked my smoothie directly to me with a straw and all. No attitude, just friendly. Maybe that's their usual level of service but since there seemed to be a steady stream of business at the time, I was pleasantly surprised.Besides that, the best part is there was no deafening blender noise echoing throughout the store. They really can cause permanent hearing loss without using those quiet-covers to muffle noise, especially for the employees.Parking: Easy, free parking lot behind and spaces in front of the building. Watch out for those typical Michigan potholes throughout the shared parking lot.

The first thing I tried to order, from the menu, the worker couldn't even find on the register so I had to pick something new. I wasn't going to leave a review for that but then, in the middle of making my order a friend of one of the workers came in. The worker stopped making my order, leaving my mostly blended smoothie in the blender, to start and finish the friend's order before resuming mine. Not very good customer service at this location. Just go to the Ferndale location.

The fastest ever experience I’ve had at a tropical smoothie cafe in my LIFE!! Madison Heights? Glacial. Novi? Maple syrup on a cold day. This place? Quick like greased lightning. Def coming here from now on

I can't rate any drinks or food, because I only took my 2 year old grandson in for his smoothie that his mom always get him. He loves them. But I never get anything from there. But the staff & atmosphere were great.
This is the uniform the employees are wearing crocs and hoodies with leggings

Called and ordered ahead, for one smoothie, they said 10 minutes. I get there with line no or orders waiting, and the two girls working are sitting in the back, I peeked into the back to get there attention (even though the door has a bell) then paid and still had to wait for them to make my drink. Just disappointed.
