Closed now. They were the best, most authentic Thai in a faux-trendy city that tends to spit on anything authentic.

Found this place on google. This place is small feel like food court in here but it's clean inside. Food came out pretty fast. I ordered Basil fried rice. Spicy level is perfect but food is too sweet for me. The staff is pretty friendly and nice. It looks like quite here but I saw a lot of people come here to pick up the carry out order. I will go back and try something else next time.

First time ordering here and I thought the food was good. I ordered the spicy yum salad (beef salad), chicken fried rice, spicy pad Thai and eggrolls. I thought the Thai Iced coffee need a little more sweetener because it was a little too bitter for me. I had to add alittle bit of milk myself to make it less dark. Few pieces of beef salad tasted old. I will give them another chance and order again next time.

Never busy inside but food takes forever. Food is just ok nothing special, not much flavor no matter what i order no matter the spice. Definitely have had better Thai food, such as from Shin Thai (formerly Thai Cafe) down the road.

The place was empty when we got there...maybe 4 to go orders? We sat for 45 minutes before we got our food. The food was good, but not 45 minute wait in an empty restuarant good

First: the food is good and service is friendly. Perfect for takeout. All the food is prepared fresh, not warmed up. Secondly: the place itself looks like someone just moved in. Lots of stuff leaning at the walls will great you when coming in. And there are no windows. Conclusion: takeout or nothing.

Was really craving some pad Thai, but hadn't ventured out for Thai food in Royal Oak before. After reading several positive reviews of Thailand Town, I decided to give it a try. Let me start by saying that the portion was very large! I got the lunch portion of the chicken pad Thai and was happy to see the reviews weren't false, portions are very generous. I had my meal for both lunch and dinner! The flavor of the pad Thai was delicious! I have had several places skimp on the protein and crushed peanuts on top, but Thailand Town did not skimp on either. I ordered mine with medium spice and was happy with it. It had a little kick to it, but it didn't make my nose run, or my eyes water (I could've gone with a little more spice, but I didn't want to overdo it as each restaurant has a different spice level). Service was very nice and quick, and the guy was super friendly! I will be back for sure! No need to try any other Thai restaurant in Royal Oak - this is my new go-to!!

Food was excellent! Service initially slow but then customer service was 5 star. I had Chicken Pad Tai, Crab Rangoon, hot & Sour soup and Tai iced tea. I suggest if you are iffy on spice that you order mild or none. Medium spicy Pad Tai had quite a kick.

First time picking up an order today and I was not disappointed ! I got medium pad Thai and the serving size is huge and a lot of meat as well. Best crab rangoons I have ever had ! Comes with 7 and they were very crispy and cheesy. This is my new Thai spot for sure.

Absolutely delicious ! Ordered the SP7 the Pad Kratiem (garlic) medium spicy and it may be the best Thai food i have ever had . Ordered a quick takeout on lunch and it was superb will definitely be back! Such friendly service ! All ingredients were fresh and the fried garlic on top and black pepper really set it apart !

This place was great. We got there right before closing time and the staff made us feel welcome and good not rush us out. Everything was made fresh to order. The larb was especially good!

Had a chicken and vegetable dish was not overly spicy - - the chicken chunks we're not dried out as in many Chinese restaurants and the vegetables cooked to perfection not droopy. Will definitely return and try other dishes.

I came in here on a random Wednesday after leaving the Zoo and the food was great. The food tastes clean and it also was not crowded, which was great for me. Great service and the Thai culture was represented.
