This was the worst breakfast I have had in so long. We had 11 people and not one of use liked what we had. There was not flavor at all.

I mean I've never actually signed or drank here because they close the kitchen at 10pm but have a late night menu that they don't serve which is weird. I tried calling one day at 9pm to see when the kitchen closed and never got an answer and when I finally did pretty much told me it was last call at 940pm and wouldn't let me order.Severely disappointed because I've always wanted to try them. But why have a late night menu on the site but aren't serving it. And should have on their site when the kitchen closed if they aren't going to be deligent in answer the phones

Horrible food, equally terrible service. Food was cold (including fried food). Burger was so overcooked to the point of being almost burnt. The salad was essentially a soup - wilted spinach with grapefruit slices and maybe 4 slices of beets (and it was called "root" salad with beets as the first ingredient). They even "accidentally" forgot to take the cold fried cauliflower off the bill until we pointed it out.The only redeeming quality is the ambiance and the incredible live music, which is why I gave it 2 stats instead of one. Come here for cheap, basic drinks during Happy Hour, listen to the music - but eat elsewhere.

The Morie is well worth a second try if you maybe didn’t have the best first experience. The Director of Operations, Adam, truly exceeded my expectations by actually listening to my concerns and responding in such a positive way. We decided to come back to The Morie for another try and I’m so glad we did. Our server Connor was great, very quick and attentive. And the manager, Alexis, was so helpful and friendly. Our food was delicious, I highly recommend the Kung Pao Cauliflower and The Morie Burger. And definitely ask for a Blackberry Mule if you’re wanting a drink! Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.

Food was delicious! Service was good! It was the seating that was a struggle. We sat at a high top with bar stools which would be fine if the bar stools were at all bearable. The floor was sloping and it felt like I was falling the whole meal! I fine spot for drinks but if you're sitting to eat- request an actual table and chair. And I'm old- it was loud without a band.

Party of 6 during "Happy Hour" (a little after 5pm) on a Saturday. Were seated at a 5 top max, so cramped. Service was ok, but not great and pretty slow despite the place being pretty empty.Ordered a bunch of apps off the Happy Hour menu. Due to the slow service, we rushed out to get to a show, to realize they charged us full price on all the happy hour items. Reached out twice, was told someone would contact me, but never did.

At The Morrie we had the pleasure of having Melisa as our server. She made our dining experience wonderful. Melisa took care of our party of 3, me and 2 other buddies where going out for brunch and we where ecstatic on trying this place and we are glad we did. Ordered the chicken and waffle and as you can tell by the attached photo we demolished the plates. Also this place has great live music and cool designs across the place. 5/5 Would definitely return.

First, our food came late. THEN, they tried to rush us out of the place because it's "21+ after 9" (They never told us that) THEN, they tried to SCAM US out of our money. For example, they tried to scam my mom out of $90, NINETY DOLLARS!! Plus, they would NOT speak up while giving us our food which came after an hour of us being there. Not to mention that the food was hard, over cooked, and cold. And this was a birthday dinner. AND the food wasn't that good. The only good thing was the appetizer. This place was a waste of our time.

The menu has shrunk over time. Our party of 7 had a hard time finding something that appealed to us. Food was just ok. Service was attentive. Nice atmosphere. It's set up for big drinking groups vs gastro pub.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend The Morrie Royal Oak. We were here for a work event of 50 people. They did not have enough food for the buffet that was preselected and offered and were unable to replenish the food when only 3/4 of the team ate. More food was offered, it took a while, semi-understanably, but they only brought the protein. To be honest, I don't even know what sides were offered because they were gone and no one had overflowing plates or seconds! They had 2 trays of each side only and could not refill! Somehow they realized there was a mistake, but by the time they were taking individual orders for those of us that had not eaten our bus was ready to leave when our food arrived and we were unable to even eat at the venue and had to take it to go!This place has potential. It is an inviting atmosphere and the server was nice. Singular, server. For 50 people. I felt a bit bad for her, but unfortunately, they did not prepare for a pre-planned event. From what I tasted of the food, it was not seasoned well and fairly oily, with exception to the burger and waffle fries someone ordered.Better luck next time.Dietary restrictions: We did have a person in our group with a dietary allergy. They tried to accommodate, but unfortunately, took it a little carelessly. After speaking with them multiple times about the menu and needs, her food arrived seasoned with something that had the potential for the allergen. They did rectify it, but because she was a single server for a pre-planned party of 50, she was overwhelmed and overlooked this detail. It would have been nice to see management step in before things went horribly wrong for the majority of our evening.

The arugula salad was only spinach (NO arugula). The hamburger had onions-requested NO onions. The salad had oil and vinegar dressing (requested blue cheese on the side) and no cucumber, tomatoes or cheese Took over an hour to get the incorrect food delivered. Sent the salad back. The others suffered through their incorrect orders waitstaff was apologetic but that didn't change the mistakes. Bathrooms should be checked for toilet paper or lack of...
