A few weeks ago I came in for a morning latte right after opening and I was shocked to see a single barista behind the counter. I can only hope that a single female opener is not par for course as that is both dangerous and a lot of stress on one person. I’m going to go ahead and assume that my amazing barista (I think her name was Ashley) earned the wages of two workers as that is a *two* person job and she held it down solo. Also the lattes are excellent.

This place is very disorganized, my review isn't about staffing. It's about how the staff do their job. I waited 40 minutes for an order that should of taken 20 max if busy. People that got this before me received their orders before me by half the time. My iced coffee didn't have creamer in it as asked and my smoothie was mostly ice and tasked like a beer you'd get at Blake's cider mill.

My go to coffee shop! Great place to meet clients for a quick chat or to enjoy a delicious breakfast sandwich. I hear the ice cream is also delicious, but have yet to experience it first hand. The macaroons though are on point! Yum!

Not my favorite coffee shop in metro Detroit. Seating can be a bit of trouble if you have a large group but the ambiance is nice. My main problem is the coffee, they only offer two sizes, 16 and 20oz. I prefer more traditional coffee styles and balances, so a 16oz cappuccino is a bit of a sin in my book. The espresso balance was fair but I would have rather paid the same price for a smaller, higher quality coffee, especially for 5$ plus tax.

This is an amazing coffee roaster in downtown clawson. Don't know why people flock to Starbucks where there are so many great local roasters to choose from

Good coffee, and chill atmosphere. It’s usually a little less busy if you need somewhere to work during the day. I wish there were more vegan options, in the bakery case and sandwich wise, as the only option is avocado toast.

Fantastic cappuccino, and SUPERB sandwiches. Holy moly, this place has it figured out. Kept kitchen open late for this gal and her family. Let me just say, food did not disappoint. I am thrilled to have experienced the mouth adventure that was this coffee shop.

Trendy, unique, and absolutely the best coffee you can get in the city. The coffee shop feels like home. The staff always goes above and beyond for all of their customers. Priscilla always is a joy to see, and the passion in her work clearly shows. From the decor in the shop, to her execution in all of her beverages, she really does strive to make it the most welcoming spot in Royal Oak! Truly a gem ?

Stop in here 3x a week to host meetings, interviews and focus. The team is so sweet and great at remembering names of their customers - they often make great suggestions on their seasonal offerings. I love Priscilla who is always so intentional about greeting me whenever I arrive. Def a great, welcoming atmosphere at PGRO.

The staff was refusing on preparing food on that day because was not enough people working, just two. But the coffee shop was not even full, and they were just serving coffee to the customers. Disappointed

Really good icecream and coffee witg a good vibe and awesome batista. I had the fruity pebbles ice cream witg a honey lavender coffee. The coffee was definitely better than the chains.

Fantastic service with very friendly staff that are very attentive to your order and take pride in what they do. We witnessed the very kind staff wishing a customer happy birthday and he seemed to very much appreciate that. They drinks are also delicious! The caramel maple was great!
