As a first time visitor I was not impressed with the waiter assigned to my table. I arrived at 3:15pm for a scheduled reservation. I waited 2 hours for my food only to find out the waiter never put my order in but, kept asking if I wanted to order another drink. Absolutely NOT! I want my FOOD! Of course the waiter blamed it on shift change which is still unacceptable! I probably will not return to this establishment and it sucks because they have pretty good food!
I love Tom Oyster bar. The food, service, and atmosphere is amazing. Brandon in the Royal Oak restaurant has made the service even better with the laughs and making you feel welcomed. This is a go to spot and ask for Brandon.

This was by far the worse food I’d have since I’ve been back in Michigan. I got the pasta it taste like they didn’t season anything it was very milky. They only gave me 2 shrimp for a dish that was a seafood dish the muscles tasted undercooked and unseasoned. The oyster rockafella was also horrible very bland with barely any spinach or bacon in it the calamari was garbage I hated it the only positive thing I have to say about this restaurant was the server nick he was great! Save your money I paid a total of 160 dollars to not even be able to eat dinner because of how disgusting it was. I had high hopes for this place and it’s completely horrible
