Most of the food I got was good other than the burn fried mushrooms and the burn fried Mac n cheese bits. Other then that the two out of the three subs I ordered were the correct subs I order three large subs and received two large subs and a smaller sub that was half the size as the other two. Not to mention the kids working the night I went in to get my order ( 3/8/24 ) the kid working was rude and upset that I was early to pick my order up by like ten or fifteen mins which I know I would have to wait a few mins for my order which isn’t an issue but being myself and him were the only ones there I wouldn’t have thought it would have been an issue but from his attitude about me being early clearly made him mad for whatever reason so to say the lest me and my family will not be going to be back there

Tubby's Mushroom, steak and cheese sub sandwiches have been a family favorite as long as I can remember. The drive-thru experience at this location has been very good. I do not know whether there is sit down dining inside the restaurant.Parking: I think this location may be drive-thru only.

Lately they have been out of gluten free bread when I order. It is usually a 50% chance they have it. Today they had it, but it was as hard as a rock. Price is high for the quality. Do better.

I thought they were over priced. Very little meat on my sandwich. They didn't even ask what type of bread I wanted. Paid $15.00 for a foot long and I threw half of it out as it was not worth eating. I could go to a restaurant and get served for that kind of

This Tubby's has been here a long time and it's still as good as ever. There is space to sit down and eat. The staff is friendly & helpful. Get your sub grilled, and add some Tubby's sauce! It's a creamy italian great for dipping fries & other sides. Metro Detroit doesn't know how lucky you are with food. I'd love to have a Tubby's in the Lansing area!

Absolutely horrible experience! We had to "return" our 30 dollar meal and the manager had the audacity to blame us for THEIR mistakes! The manager would not even give us a hot order of fries (which we paid for) as we had to drive all the way back to return our sandwiches! As a general manager of a very popular Ferndale Restaurant, I would NEVER treat a customer in this fashion if I expected them to ever return. Absolutely ridiculous management and terrible food!

Bought a large Steak Mushroom and cheese. Taste was fine but there was less meat than what I am used to getting on a medium or even a small sub.

$40 for 2 large subs with combos is insane. the fries were over salted, my lemonade was easily just water with ice and one lemon, the bread tasted cheap, and it wasn’t filling at all. I normally save half my subway sandwiches for the next meal i have but only half of this Tubby’s sub wasn’t enough!! The amount of fries given for a large sub wasn’t enough, either. it was the equivalent to a mcdonald’s small fry. The taco sub had so much potential. But not enough of any ingredients! The quality of the sub would’ve been so much better if I made it at home. We waited at the drive thru for so long, too. Subway, Jersey Mike’s, and Jimmy John’s do so much better. First and last time at Tubby’s for sure. I wish I never gave the place a chance. The 5 star reviews have got to be bought…

I don’t know if all Tubbys are like this, but this was bad. The bread tasted like Walmart bread, and the contents inside the sub was not good enough to make up for it. I maybe tasted 1 mushroom in my mushroom steak & cheese. Jimmy Johns, Subway, and Jersey mikes, have better and even I do better. $4.50 to upgrade to a combo, just for a medium sized side and a medium drink. The lemonade was literally water with some lemon squeezed in. The fries were over-salted, but to be honest that’s a simple mistake I can get over. Tubby’s had bigger fish to fry, though. A lot can be overlooked if for example, the subs were good. But they were a waste of $40 for two large sub combos. And I’ve noticed every bad review they give a robot response of “we’re sorry about your experience, please contact us to make this right.”, I’m sure even this review will receive that response. Tubbys, give better places room to thrive
