Decent little place. Hibatchi was overcooked and bland. ‘Fresh’ tuna was ground. Overall not horrible but expected better.

Blossoms Japanese Express offers a mixed dining experience. The food truly stands out with its great taste, especially the sushi, which is among the best I've had. However, portions are on the smaller side, which can be a downside for those with a hearty appetite.

The overall experience unfortunately does not match the quality of the food, meriting a 1-star review. The customer service is just average, which is not what you'd expect given the pricing. For a bill totaling $74 for two people—including two meals, two drinks, crab Rangoon, and a dessert—you'd anticipate a more attentive service. To add to the disappointment, they forgot the sauce for the dessert which was a letdown.

Additionally, everything is served on styrofoam, which detracts from the dining experience. Despite a bit of wait time, the service should have been smoother and more catered given the price. Comparing this with other local options, such as Saganos in Flint, you can enjoy a much better experience for a lower cost. In summary, while the food's quality is commendable, the service and overall experience at Blossoms Japanese Express do not justify the price.

Horrible food poisoning from sushi rolls.

I love this place so much, for the price, portions and everything it’s wonderful

If you are looking for sushi…. Hit up gas station sushi, or the premade rolls at Kroger. If I wasn’t starving I’d would have finished it…

So far the best katsu curry I've had since Japan

Me and my buddy walked in here for lunch and we’re not from the town so we saw on the maps a Japanese restaurant so we assumed that it would be a Japanese restaurant but instead it was a fully white owned restaurant and not authentic and don’t get me wrong we’re both white, but that just doesn’t make sense. they also don’t sit you at a table; you just order food at the front and wait for it like McDonald’s. And then when we got the Ramen, it was mid not worth 14 dollars.

We had to wait 30 minutes for our order
knowing that it’s an express restaurant. They have lots of DoorDash orders that they cater before they attend the in-house guest.
By the time our food arrived it wasn’t warm. The staff seemed to be struggling btw DoorDash orders & restaurant guest. It was an average experience. Will think twice before going back.

Be sure to check your order. This is my second time ordering here. First time I asked for extra spicy mayo, never delivered. Second time I had 3 sushi rolls and 1 soy sauce pack, and no chop sticks. Young kids running the front, probably need a senior management leader for quality control
