A lot of great flavors and the ice cream doesn't have that freezer burnt taste like some places

I love ice cream. This place has very good ice cream. I was really impressed. I heard about their wasabi ice cream and I wanted to give it a try so I asked for a sample. It was very delicious. The reason why I was here was because I wanted a sundae. I ordered the superior sundae. I switched the vanilla ice cream out for the saltmine Detroit flavor. There is an up charge for doing so, it was very good. Yes, I would recommend Great Lakes Ice Cream Company.

Went there with my boyfriend, son and his girlfriend tonight.
I tried out a few scoops of the caramel cheesecake. It was really good. Lots of caramel and silky smooth ice cream. Had I had more room, I'd have tried it with a waffle cone for some crunch. Maybe next time.

I am sad to rate this so low however I have found the quality of service has declined this year compared to other previous years. First off the greeting and customer service is pretty flat and lacking care and personality. Secondly we ordered a malt recently and it was basically a cup of milk. It was so thin and watered down it was not enjoyable. The ice cream flavors are still pretty good and I love the idea behind them being local and supporting that however I think the business could use some love and support. I hope things improve.

The prices weren't bad, the service was fantastic and the ice cream was great!
I also noticed they had a dill pickle ice cream and I had to try it it was definitely different!

This place used to be awesome but sadly no longer. They raised their prices to a crazy price and give you the absolute smallest scoops. They also never have their best flavors. I will go elsewhere until they fix it.

We are sitting in the Midland location right now… we love coming here after softball and soccer games from time to time. Tonight there are two young ladies working and both of them are the epitome of great customer service. The ice cream was great, the atmosphere is great and the employees are very accommodating. We love this place!

Very disappointed for the small amount of ice cream for the price i got a two scoop in a bowl and it was barely any ice cream
