We went shortly after 4:00 p.m. and there was only one other table in the restaurant. The service was excellent as would be expected. The food was great although my friend had some problems with the Aged tofu appetizer. She didn't think it was cooked long enough but they remade it quickly. The soup and salad that was a part of our meals was very good. Our entrees were very good with very generous portions! My only criticism at this point was was it really worth the price? With my appetizer and entree with an ice water the bill came to 48 dollars and change. Add a $10 tip to that and for one person it was just under $60!

The very first time we visited this establishment, we weren't impressed. The rice wasn't good and a lot of the dishes weren't authentic. It hasn't changed much, but the white rice was much better this time.I ordered the unaju (eel on rice) while my wife ordered one of the bento sets. Two things immediately stood out. One, the sashimi included with her dish was cube shaped, instead of thinly sliced. This is a huge problem, as it changes the mouth feel of the fish AND the overall flavor - I had to request they thinky slice it. The fish itself was fresh, but simply was too large to enjoy. Two, my unaju came cut up into small pieces with part of the eel missing. It seemed to me that in order to appease Western tastes, they removed the parts that contained most of the fat and bones. The bones are really soft and completely edible, and the fatty parts are truly flavorful, so to me, this was a high crime. Other than that, the taste was good, but not completely authentic. The salads and soups were pretty good, and our appetizer, some sort of fake crab meat tempura was very good - we both really enjoyed that. The service was just okay. There were two other tables with customers on both sides of us, with a different server for each, but we had to wait 10 minutes or more between visits from our server. We even had others stop over to deliver food or ask them to get the server. We weren't doing hibachi, but maybe the servers pull double duty - working both sides simultaneously.Lastly, I really would like it if they expanded their sake selection. It is VERY poor and they were completely out of one of the better ones on the menu. For a Japanese style restaurant, that, and the selection, is pretty bad.The food here isn't terrible, isn't quite authentic, and not so pricey that you can't enjoy it. Too bad that with a bit more effort, it could be so much better.

I found my sushi place.Plenty of great options ?Great service.Service was also courteous and quick. The wasabi seems a little bit more potent here than at other places which most likely means that it's real wasabi, not green horseradish.Be Careful with the sake.

The dine in cooking demonstrations are fun. It's a bit pricey, but it's higher end Asian fusion. Good eats.

Certainly do NOT go here if you are gluten free. I had called before hand to make sure they could do gluten free on the hibachi. They assured me without hesitation it would be completely fine. Once there informed the hostess who also said it would be ok and to just let the server know. We let the server know and she said yes it would be ok. We waited 45 minutes from being placed at a table and ordering all of our food, only to have the server come back and say they would not accommodate. Thank you for wasting our evening. And it was my daughter’s 12th birthday.

This used to be my favorite restaurant of all time. But after the second awful experience in a row yesterday, I won't be returning. A few months ago, I found metal in my food which is from whatever they scrub the grill with to clean it. Wouldn't have been a big deal except it was at least 5 pieces in the food. Yesterday I found plastic wrapping in my food twice, and I'm not sure if it's from the butter they use or what, but it was awful to bite into my rice and see it not once, but twice. Our waitress yesterday left our entire table without refills or assistance from the time the hibachi chef got to our table until the time we left. Our table bonded by complaining about the poor service. All of us had empty glasses for our entire dinner, and no one came by so I could address my issue which by that point I was just so fed up I walked out and let my boyfriend finish paying the bill. The chefs are always so nice but the quality is going down and the service has been bad lately.

I don’t normally write a google review unless I have been throughly impressed or done terribly wrong. And sadly this restaurant I tried and tired to not lose my patience, but they made it nearly impossible. Handed a dinner menu at noon, no chicken in the chicken fried rice but expected to pay for it. One waitress across every single hibachi table. I never received a refill on just water, let alone the coke that I paid for to not receive a single refill. Waitress didn’t want to deal with any of it, but luckily the manager was reasonable. Only redeeming factor was the hibachi chief… he was funny.

We had fried rice, noodles, and vegetables prepared at table. Food was great ,among the 6 of us we had chicken, shrimp, steak, and scallops ; all were good. Portion size was more than sufficient. Only small issues were waiting for a chef and the cold temperature of the back room where we were seated.

Food was great, but it took 2.5hrs to get food. Apparently take out orders take presidents over dining in. There was only three active tables. And one was served before us, that came in after, do to they complained to the waitress first .

The food was good, not great. Service was slow even for sushi. The atmosphere was very lackluster. It felt more like a fast food place than a steakhouse.
