This place is amazing! The owner was so much fun and kept checking on us. He taught us some history about the building and seemed very passionate about his restaurant. Our waitress was awesome, and the food was so good! The whole experience was 10/10. Highly recommend.

We had the seared ahi as an appetizer it was delicious the Cesar salad we had before our meal was delicious and fresh we got the sea bass and lamb chops and split the plate it was amazing. It's pricey but the flavor reflects the price and I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for something delicious with no budget. If you're looking for the cheaper side they have other things as well that are only 15-20 a plate. The waitress we had was great and she helped us with everything we needed.

Fantastic All-Star dining experience! Classic steakhouse and seafood restaurant, with attentive servers and owner! My steak and lobster were absolutely perfect, mom's sea bass was flawless. Definitely will return, and even bought a gift card for friends who live locally!

Dined at Jake's last night and was almost completely blown away by the experience.Service and atmosphere were top notch, and the location can't be beat.There was only one problem. Three of us ordered steaks, 2 cooked medium, 1 medium rare. All 3 arrived on the rare side of medium rare. For me, this wasn't an issue. However, 1 of the girls was put off by it. Had I noticed it sooner, we would have sent them back.We would all happily return, but next time, I'll be more specific about the steaks.

I found Jake's old city grill by Google searching "5 star restaurants in Saginaw Michigan" it was the first one that came up, and it should be first! I chose the USDA Choice filet mignon with a nice sized lobster tail. With it, I had smashed reds, bread and a house salad. I ate it all! Drank a wonderful Mai Tai with my meal and even finished with a Chocolate Bomb ? dessert. Our server left nothing to be desired. She let us customize orders and she was able to answer all of our questions. She was wonderful! Her name starts with Ann... Sorry, the food was so good I forgot the rest.
