I have lived close enough to Ricos to smell the frying tacos from my porch, but had never been. As a life long fan of Mexican food, I don't know why I hadn't tried them. The amount of time I wasted is so sad. The deep fried steak tacos have brought a lot of joy. So so good
Rico's is by far my favorite take out place. I am a regular and they always greet me by name when I come in, and I have heard them do this with other customers as well. The service and staff are amazing. Their food is absolutely delicious and I go there as often as I can. I recently moved out of Saginaw, but any time I am in town I go pick up some lunch, even if it's out of my way, because it is so good! Highly recommend the Enchiladas, Steak Fajitas, and Bean Tostadas....
We placed a large lunch order because everything on the menu looked so good, we couldn’t decide! I tried the ground beef wet burrito — the portion was very generous, though it wasn’t quite my favorite. It didn’t have much of the red sauce I was expecting and was a bit on the liquidy side, probably from all the lettuce and tomatoes.
