After years of giving this place a chance almost every Saturday and some Sundays, we have finally given up hope. This place is by far the worst and I wish shields had a little more to offer for breakfast.

After getting up and telling the staff I needed it to go because they filled orders before my order when the people came in after me. Then got the burger and it was a hockey puck. So after paying the food went straight onto the trash. The service was trash and the food was garbage.

I am so disappointed in the restaurant, I heard so many good things about it and we were planning on stopping by when we are in town next month. However, after watching a YouTube video of a gentleman doing a food challenge there and seeing how cold the staff was towards him. I wouldn't want to visit this place. I don't care if ita super busy, you don't take that attitude to the table. Regardless of how your day is going, you are expected to keep that in check and be respectful to all customers.

Tony's of Shields always has great food and service...even though you might have to wait a little longer at busy times.
All the staff was nice, but I watched a cashier/waitress walk away from the register, not even acknowledging the customer standing there waiting to pay. The same waitress waited on me & did not make sure that my order was complete, after I had to remind her that I wanted extra sauce for my steak sandwich. Which I had to pay extra for.

The greasy steak sandwiches they sell gave my son food poisoning a few months ago. He was throwing up all night. Got all over his room and bathroom. Horrible experience. Also my aunt mentioned she overheard the cooks yelling about cockroaches. AVOID THIS

I ordered a half plate of the sweet Cinnamon French toast and a small order of sausage links. For just over $11 plus a $5 tip the food was superb and the lady who helped me out, Katie, was amazing. I just moved out here to Shields late last week and I'm definitely going to be making this a regular spot and I absolutely recommend it. Haven't been there for lunch yet but that's a high priority for me given how good the breakfast was.
Out of all the Tony’s in Saginaw County, this by far is the worst one I’ve been to! Flies flying all around the restaurant, dirty floors and the waitress was rude and disrespectful. Neither waitress set our table! We set it ourselves! Our soda was extremely syrupy. We asked for replacement drinks and the waitress ignored us for the next 15 minutes until finally coming back to us and saying that the drinks we had chosen were all out. Wtf. Food quality was 2/10. Bacon was hard as a rock, omelettes were super small. Soda/Pop was syrupy and flat. I don’t plan on ever coming here again. I highly recommend anyone who’s considering this place to keep looking. There’s wayyyyy better Tony’s in Saginaw County than this one! I give this place negative (-10 stars) Please beware!!!!
