For starters…dough over-worked creating a tough pastry/no crumb…sub-par at best. Filling seemed like it came straight from the frozen food section creating a mushy lackluster tasteless filling. Maybe they were just behind the gun because of the Bridgewalk… Don’t Know. Wouldn’t return though.

Lady working the counter was very friendly. We got venison and beef and they were both delicious.

Worst pasties I’d ever had. Flavorless crust and beef was way way too salty and the beef cubes were tough. The blueberry was like a brick plus ruined it with sugar sprinkles. I don’t like giving bad reviews but I did not like them. The gravy was good. I don’t understand all the good reviews but to each their own.

I'm a downstater. Sorry about that. But, I'm studying. Yoopers are first of all, honest. Figured that out pretty quick up there. Secondly they aren't uncomfortable in the silence after a statement (could be because they are actually listening). I've enjoyed pasties from at least a dozen shops in God's Country. Without a doubt, these are the best. This is the part where there is silence...............I can't figure it out. Mabye it's Love or a bit of pride. Either way, Thank You and Hats Off!

Delicious traditional pasties, all homemade from scratch food. Darian was helpful, friendly, an all around gem! The restaurant and store staff treated you like family. Great place to stop for dining and convenience needs.

Possibly the best homemade pasties if ever eaten. Everything is fresh and delicious. And yes, they make them with rutabagas, yum.
The gravy is made from the drippings of the pot roast that is slow roasted. These things are the bomb! I have not tried the fruit pies, but those look amazing, too.

This is the only place I buy my pasties. The people are so friendly. I drive over 4 hrs just to pick some up.
Keep up the great work.

The food was mediocre. Have definitely had better pastys in St Ignace. Our concern here was in the food prep. No one was wearing gloves! There were 3 people there handling our food, cash register and all other other duties. One was cutting fudge, one was preparing the pastys for future orders and for freezer prep. Not one person was wearing gloves. If we had not been so hungry and most of the other pasty restaurants being closed at 5:30 (oh my!) we would have walked out. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

The pasties are great with thin delicate dough and chunks of meat. Get the corned beef if you can and try a berry one as well!
The owner is a super welcoming and nice lady and the place is cute with tons of local gifts to choose from. So worth a visit!
