Penny was the Best. As we pulled up we didn’t know what to expect. We are from Alabama and had know idea what to order. What a great UP experience. Penny walked us through the process so we got the full taste of all things Pasty. We had a beef, gravy, Cole slaw, and a pickle. Then an apple and cherry one for dessert.
I felt like God had sent my grandmother from heaven to kiss me on the cheek and feed me a great lunch. We made a friend and a great memory. If you come off the bridge and don’t go see Penny…. You missed out.

Amazing! Everyone needs to try the beef pasty. It was comfort food to the max. You can drink the gravy, it’s that good! It had great chunks of beef that just reminded us of mom’s cooking. The blueberry pie was perfectly sweet with great, big blueberries in it. The hospitality from Penny and the staff was above and beyond. Very sweet and friendly! We will be definitely coming back!
I wanted to love these. We tried the Beef, the Chicken and the bacon one. Fillings were ok. A bit under seasoned but the issue was the crust. Completely raw. Being on vacation and no access to an oven they heated them for us but the dough was just raw inside.
