Great breakfast spot! Parking is tight and it’s kinda tight inside, but worth it. The regular coffee is great. There’s a huge menu. Lots of omelet options if you like that. I got the skillet with extra crispy hash browns and bacon. Yum! It’s a huge dish. Everything was so good here! Service was good even though she was super busy.

Menu is no longer labeled for their vegan options. You have to ask. They usually have plant egg substitute, vegan sausage, and vegan cheese, but because we came on their last day open for the season, they only had the vegan cheese available. I got the veggie skillet, no egg, with extra veggies, vegan cheese, and dry sourdough toast.

Came here for breakfast before our day on the island and was not disappointed! The staff was great and friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the regular coffee, it tasted so good! I got the Nutella crepes with strawberries added in and he got a skillet. We were both very happy with our selections. I'm bummed we didn't have more time to come back here again.

Okay, here we go... My husband and I make an annual trip to St. Ignace ever year. In October, 2024, I placed a carry out order for a mushroom, spinach, and Swiss cheese omelette. Once I got it back to the hotel, I realized that Java Joe's put American cheese on my spinach mushroom omelette. I mean, this was runny American cheese. It ended up in the trash. So...today my husband encouraged me to try again. I ordered the same thing, mushroom, spinach, and Swiss cheese omelette. Wouldn't you know, he brought it back to the hotel and when I went to eat it, I found runny American cheese AGAIN! Really??? How does this happen??? So...my husband drove back to Java Joe's, returning the omelette and asked for a refund, as we had a boat to catch and no time to reorder. Of course there was a lineup, and the whole ordeal took 30 minutes to receive a refund on the mis-made omelette. I must add that in addition to the initial cost of the carry out order, we had left a 20% tip as well. Really now, how does this happen, two identical orders, two years in a row??? I will add that there was no remorseful customer service, no offer for a breakfast on the house, nothing. Just a refund of the initial cost for the omelette. Never again... That's it.

We split the Hawaiian omelet..It was great!! The coconut isnt strong it gives it the perfect sweet taste to it! The strawberry banana smoothie was great!
