It was a very white version of traditional mexican dishes. The servers were nice and the salsa had a smoky flavor to it and the churros were amazing

We ate here last weekend for probably the 6th time, we look forward to it every time we’re in St. Ignace! Great staff who deal with the busy northern Michigan weekend rush of entitled down staters and out of staters with class, and the food is always excellent. They have live acoustic music on the weekends, and the artists are usually really impressive. Ignore the poor reviews, this is one of the best spots in town!

Being from Arizona we didn’t think we could get good Mexican food in da UP. We were wrong. The Shrimp diabla was loaded with shrimp and had a great heat level. The chicken chimichanga was very flavorful and the queso was out of this world. Thanks Sherri for the awesome service. We will definitely be back!

Terrible experience! The server was extremely rude, and when one of my group members shared our experience in a review(Daniela's review below), the owner responded by making baseless accusations of theft.
It's clear they don't value their customers or take responsibility for their service. They're likely counting on the tourist crowd to overlook their poor treatment, as their behavior suggests they don't want repeat business.
I stopped in while in St. Ignace for the antique tractor crossing over the Mackinac Bridge. They were able to accommodate our large group of 17. I ordered the fajita burrito and it was excellent.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely terrible customer service from our server. We ordered the chicken habanero tacos and were given the option of mild or spicy. As fanatics of spicy food, we opted for the spicy option. We were given no warning or heads up about the spice. The tacos ended up being completely inedible as they topped it with a disgustingly spicy sauce that took over the entire dish and had our mouths burning for a while. From just one bite! Yes, we chose that option, but its irresponsible of the restaurant to not clarify that the spice is extreme. We kindly asked our server if she could help us with our dish, we were hoping for a replacement for the mild option. Instead, our server’s response was to argue with us, and tell us we ordered spicy, and that there was only one taco remaining on the plate out of the 3 (the other 2 tacos were on the plates of the people eating them. They had only taken one bite, so her argument made no sense.) She was basically saying its our fault for ordering spicy and she was trying to claim we ate them when we clearly had not. When I tried to clarify that with her, she raised her voice and very rudely said “im not trying to argue with you right now.” Even though she was the one who clearly started the argument by talking back to us and giving us attitude. When we initially brought up our concern, we had a good attitude about it. As soon as we caught her tone and attitude, I adjusted mine to match hers. As a server, your job is to ensure your customer is having a good dining experience. If they raise a concern with you, or express dissatisfaction with their plate, your job is to address the issue and FIX it. You dont talk back and accuse them. If you disagree, then maybe serving is not for you.
