Rustic pastie place serving solid big pasties that hit the spot. I was told to stop here by some friends who went to college at Michigan Tech and I was not disappointed. The inside is adorned with antique photos and articles about the history of this place; and the pastie was a solid few pounds of perfectly spiced meat and fillings. And the dough was perfectly flaky. With this place being so close to the bridge, there are few reasons why you shouldn’t stop here

Do not, I repeat, do not buy pasties anywhere else. The crust is flaky and not dense. You don't have to search for the meat hidden in the potatoes. Delicious. If you have never understood the allure of a bland potato hot pocket, you will finally understand.

Lehto’s Pasties is located in such a beatiful place and the Pasties are so delicious. If you’re looking for picnic and delicious meal look no further. Also, just up the road is the beautiful pull off to see the Mackinac Bridge and beautiful coastline. Also, did I mention these bad boys are dense and will fill every empty corner of your belly and I was not mad about it either. These handheld monsters are a thing of beauty, and they remind me a lot of my other favorite handheld the BIEROCK. Looking forward to seeing the Artists that make Lehto’s a favorite again soon!

It's right off US 2 and very delicious. Take out only however, they did have outdoor picnic tables. There is a bridge view park less than a mile from there, we stopped and ate ours there. Great day.

These pasties were just so good. We ordered the beef pasties with gravy, hot and ready to go AND frozen pastries to take home. There are tables outside or a park a couple miles up the road to enjoy this classic UP delicacy!!!
The pasties and the service were amazing! We were so happy that the store was open, and the clerk was so nice and welcoming. (That was not our experience, at the shop just up the road…). We will definitely make this place a regular stop, when we are in the UP! Thank you.

BEST PASTIES!! We have been coming to Lehto's for over 30 years. Alway get one for the drive and some cold for next day. Stopped in this past Monday morning they only had hot ones. They just came out of oven. YUMMY Split one on ride home and ate the other two for dinner last night. We have tried others, if by chance Lehto's was closed when we drive to iron river, every October. None compare to these. Love them.
