Recommend you order ice cream in a dish or cone, not a malt or shake. I am very disappointed with my blueberry shake. It has very little blueberry flavor. The ice cream is oily, not creamy. My wife's Peanut Butter Mackinac ice cream is delicious, however. We'll try the ice cream shop a couple of blocks up the road tomorrow.

False advertising - claims their waffle cones are made there, but the staff states they aren't. Ice cream we had was GUMMY (old?) and vile in texture - wild, considering we are in the midst of tourist season, though it shouldn't be served ANY season. Out of half the flavors (which I can understand) and the hours are incorrect online in multiple places. They also closed the upstairs seating area on us which was one of the 2 reasons we came (HOMEMADE cones being the other). As a local, I will happily recommend everyone steer clear of this disappointment!

The cheapest ice cream in St. Ignace. It's solid quality, but they've started giving less. The baby cone used to be a small, but full scoop. Now it's a half scoop at best.

Our favorite ice cream to stop at when we are in the UP! The red double decker bus makes for a fun experience, along with the wide variety of ice cream choices. Their hard scoop ice cream is so good and so many flavors to choose from! Lots of outdoor seating, and right by the lake shore, perfect for a peaceful evening.
