The room we were in was at the annex. 7 rooms by themselves. The room is incredibly small, especially when you consider how much we were being charged for it. The bathroom is super small, with a round 3' shower that I had to get out of the shower to soap up, then step back in to rince off.
We didn't have hot water for two days, and when reported to cleaning staff, nothing was done. The next day before we headed out, we told the front desk. When we came back at 7pm, and asked for some kind of comp, was told no. Wasn't expecting a free night or anything, just something to show that they messed up and are trying to make it right.
Back to the room. Not one dresser to put clothes in, not one drawer, nothing. There is a small 3x6 foot table with one chair. Can't put much on that at all. The blinds don't work, so people can see in the room from the outside, even though I tried several times to make it not see through able.
The lack of working plugs is another sore spot. With so many choices for places to stay, stay away from this place. We could hear the wait staff/cooks outside of the restaurant, based on our location. From smoking marijuana several times a night, to talking loudly, I will never eat at this place. Worst decision I have made in a long time. Didn't know, now I do.

Horrible service and food! We waited and waited and then served by an unofficial server. Said she was helping servers. The whitefish was rubbery and disgusting. Definitely don’t recommend and won’t go back. Also we were chased into the parking lot by “unofficial server” stating we didn’t sign credit card receipt after credit card was already run. It was signed on the table. Treated terrible and not even apologized to for the complete embarrassment. Totally unacceptable!!!

Sat at the table for 20 and no service. Got up and left

Went for breakfast My biscuits and gravy were lukewarm. My daughters eggs were lukewarm and her sausage patties, which were the equivalent of something that would be served in a school cafeteria, were COLD. This used to be the place to go for breakfast. No more.

The room had an awful smell and the bathroom wasn't very clean and I felt like I was going to fall through the tub. We used to stay there for years and was happy to stay, but this was the first time we both were not happy staying. Had 2 nights to stay but left after the first night. I did tell her I wasn't feeling good. But I should of told her I couldn't sleep in that room another night.
We will not be staying there anymore.

This is for dinner at the Driftwood restaurant.

I had the plank white fish. My husband had the mussels and garlic fettuccini. White fish perfectly cooked with delicate fresh parsley on top, fresh broccoli on top, cooked perfectly, crispy tender, best parts of my dish!

Carrots may have been frozen, had bland taste more like squash. The duchess potatoes were presented nice, the duchess potatoes tasted more like they were made from instant potatoes with an egg added to keep the instant potatoes from being too gluey .

The mussels were good. He preferred a clear lemon garlic sauce instead of a cheese cream sauce.

We stopped on Labor Day. They were packed. The servers explained they were very busy. Even as busy as it was our servers were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The food was good and came in good time. Even as our server was running by, she made sure we were good and got more drinks on the way.

It's convenient location makes it an easy choice for the hungry visitor exploring the town. When we entered, though there were two staff at the hostes stand, neither of them acknowledged our presence for a couple minutes at least. When they finally did and we were seated, I ordered a bloody Mary and when I got it, I don't think there was any vodka in it. I had my wife try it and she said she couldn't taste any either. It was very weak for the price. The offerings are pretty expensive for what you get, though they do have a good selection of offerings. I got the portobello burger which is supposed to be the appetizer (stuffed portobello mushroom cap) made into a burger. The menu said it came with A-1 as the sauce, but the burger had a sauce more reminiscent of tartar sauce and didn't really pair well with the mushroom. They were mid-busy, but rarely saw our server and was hard to track her down. I might eat there again, but wouldn't go out of my way to go there.

We waited for 45 minutes for breakfast, had to ask for more coffee and refills, never received our water. My son’s eggs weren’t cooked, our skillet meal was raw in the middle. Our waitress was rude, never checked on us! Tables that came in after us received their food before us! First time I have never left a tip for a waitress! We will never go back to this restaurant, which is sad because it was one of the restaurants that we always went too when we visited St Ignace

Great spot in town over looking the lake and Mackinac Island in the back ground. Service was really good and the food came out fast. I got the wings tossed is Ray Ray's Yooper Hot Sauce and they were amazing, some of the best wings I've had in the UP.

Older but very clean - and right on the lake! Sunrises were spectacular out our balcony!

Burger was way overcooked! We saw our waitress twice and the place was not busy. And if you're sitting outside, be prepared to eat in a fly infestation. Not impressed

We did not stay at the hotel, we stopped in to eat breakfast after we walked the bridge! And let me tell you it was awful! The waitress never checked on us, we had to ask for refills, and didn’t even get water like we asked! I got the scramble skillet, the center was runny, my sons, sunny side up eggs were barely cooked and so snotty he couldn’t even eat them.
Needless to say we will never go back there, and this is the first time in my life I never left a tip!

Stopped in for lunch... the Whitefish was great, as usual. The breaded mushrooms were homemade and AWESOME! Our server Lisa, was right on time with everything.

We stopped there for dinner headed back downstate after a trip to Munising - food, atmosphere & service were all great!! My son had perch and I had a ceasar salad with grilled whitefish which wasn't an option on the menu but they let me choose that without an issue! Of course we had to have cheese curds with ranch as an appetizer and they were deep fried perfectly * there were more cheese curds in the order just didn't the pic until after we started eating them. 🙃
