This is a slice of greatness!! Open since the 1950's, Dershey's is a classic historical dinner. M-F 7-3 cash only. I hit an ATM across the street. The staff are the nicest folks. Yes go here for the food!! You will see the daily specials posted on white boards acroos from the counter. I highly recommend this authentic diner. This is a St,John's gem!
Dershem’s is like coming home! Really good, made from scratch, no frills food. My farmer’s scramble was very good, large enough for 3 meals for me, piping hot and made the way it should be - with the eggs scrambled in, not sitting on top! My hot chocolate was hot and very chocolatey. My husband had the hashbrown omelet and said it was very tasty. He also commented that the coffee was in the top 3 he’d ever had! I respect all believers however I must say I was disappointed when pork free wasn't an option. Jesus would've appreciated a pork free option guys, and we're also told God hates idols. Why would you make a plastic version of his son ? All scriptures are profitable and God doesn't change if he hates idols once he hates them always... Anyways, great food, and wonderful people I truly enjoyed the visit.
