Swany's Turks Tavern is a small town downtown bar with seats at the bar and some table seats. The food and service are better than most. Guests are greeted with smiles, recommendations, and fresh delicious food. The Scotty is a unique peanut butter burger with an actual pb& jelly spread of sorts. The Island Saute is no slouch either, and the beer battered fries are done well. One of the best olive burgers is available, with great sweet potato fries. The restaurant is accommodating for gluten intolerance and celiac, with corn shell tacos and the option to bring a gluten free bun. They do not have a dedicated fryer for gluten free fries or tots. A buffalo chicken salad is not on the menu, but staff offer multiple options to prepare one, with the chicken in a separate container so it does not wilt the lettuce. The food quality is high, with no complaints as rare as a Michelin star. Prices are fair and service attentive.
