I’m really disappointed. I went to take my wife out to eat to celebrate an accomplishment at work; what we were met with was terrible service. I know a lot of people don’t like it when you bring a baby to a restaurant but ours barely made a peep and we were still treated poorly. The blond waitress basically wouldn’t serve us. The manager or owner took over and we were finally served. The food was okay but the whole atmosphere was off because we felt like we weren’t wanted there. We’ve been going here for years and haven’t ever experienced anything quite like this; frankly I’m embarrassed I took my wife here to celebrate. Before we were done another waitress rushed over and basically threw the bill at us and as soon as my card hit the book she swooped in and grabbed it up. I guess we didn’t have a baby last time we came so we didn’t know how unfriendly the environment was to children. Please save your money and don’t bring your kids hereKid-friendliness: Don’t bring your kids here - they are not welcome

This was my first time here and I'm pretty sure this is going to easily become my favorite sushi spot! The staff is super friendly and the wait wasn't too crazy at all. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I have social anxiety and sensory issues so I usually just get food to go but I don't think I'll ever do that here. The place is like a nice, calm setting where as other sushi places I've gone can easily get loud. I told the person about my severe allergy and they were accommodating and super sweet about it! Honestly, I don't have a single complaint about this place. The plating of the sushi is aesthetically pleasing and just wait until you taste it! It's like a flavor explosion in your mouth! 10/10 would recommend hands down.

Authentic clean adventures sushi! Biwako sushi nestled in a strip mall in Saline Michigan this restaurant includes a sushi bar which is full of fun and delicious eats. I love to play on rolls names they have names that connect you with MI roots like Spartan & Ann Arbor and the wolverine . They have many “safe” traditional sushi rolls, yet their specialties are adventurous to the taste buds. I also ate the seaweed salad and miso soup, but those were done before I could take pictures. This has become a routine Friday night sushi spot. Small intimate setting with loads of traditional Japanese touches. GO!

Their sushi selection is better than their Korean dishes imo. Good considering that it is in Saline. Love to see it thrive and continue to be the only better than average Asian restaurant in town.

I ordered one of the sushi lunch specials, and specifically asked in the comments for non-spicy versions of the rolls. I figured this wouldn't be a problem because all that was needed was to not add spicy items. Instead I was given two California rolls. When I called to ask for help, I wasn't allowed a refund to my credit card for the difference, only the promise of a "credit" on a future order. Very disappointing first experience with this restaurant.

Their food was delicious especially the spicy tuna roll, the service was great and I am hoping to return again.

Biwako is one of my favorite places to come eat. The service is always top tier and the atmosphere is cozy and bustling. Out of all of the times I've visited and tried something new here, all of the food has been absolutely delicious. They just never miss!Parking: Parking is usually plentiful unless its a Friday night.

This is a nice small town sushi restaurant but when you factor in how much sushi typically costs, I personally like to find the best I can and unfortunately this would not be a first choice for me. Their rolls are pretty average in the Michigan sushi trend. I’ve tried quite a few different rolls from here and nothing was really surprising or extra good. Anyone that claims this place to have really good sushi has clearly not had really good sushi.

I was so excited to learn Saline was getting a sushi restaurant! Ann Arbor is certainly filled with sushi options and it's great to have another one in our neighboring community. Overall the rolls & miso we ordered were good! Our biggest qualm with this order is the rice was on the dry side which made the roll fall apart as you picked it up. A small complaint but the plastic leaf in all of our boxes is not needed, it didn't add anything to our dishes & is a waste of single use plastic. On the bright side, all of the ingredients (minus the rice) were fresh and tasty. We had salmon, tuna & crab, all delightful; the rolls were stuffed as well. It's unfortunate I can't award more stars but rice is the main component here and it's so easily done, I'm not sure if it was a busy day or what happened. We might give them another try in the future!
