This is an awesome restaurant. I had the shrimp fajitas, and they were delicious. I'm like the quiet and privacy of the restaurant.

This place is good but there is definitely room for improvement. I ordered the queso fundido appetizer along with a chile relleno ala carte. The meaning of the word queso is cheese. The queso fundido dish came out and it was 99% chorizo with just a few shreds of cheese. It was very difficult to find any cheese in this cheese dish. I have ordered queso fundido (queso flameado) at every Mexican restaurant I have ever visited. This is the first time I have ever seen more chorizo than cheese. The chile relleno had a good flavor but it was badly freezer burned. You could tell it had been in the freezer for quite some time. I have no problem with frozen food that is cooked when I arrive. I do have a problem with freezer burn. The chips that they gave me with the salsa tasted very fresh along with the salsa. The service was amazing.

We went and tried Jalisco Mexican. We were excited to try this new restaurant. Upon entry the restaurant was very clean, the lighting is great and the Valentine's decorations were thoughtful and cute. The server was quick to come to our table to take our order. Once we got our food we saw our waiter one more time..to give us our check. Meanwhile whilst we were eating various staff members cruise by asking quickly"how is everything" in an obligatory fashion. All staff members have radios and ear pieces, which is somewhat distracting... It gives the essence that you're in a fast food restaurant and need to be hurried along, which goes along with the quick "how is everything"The food is mediocre. Atheistically pleasing, but bland in taste and flavors and the lack of service takes away from the entire experience. Our preference is Cancun Mexican right down the street. The staff are welcoming and warm and actually stop to talk to you..they make you feel at "home".In my opinion Jalisco Mexican seems like a poor attempt to copy Cancun Mexican...just my two cents..maybe three.
