“I have been watching and wanting to try Red Tomato for a while now, yesterday I had my two daughters and their friend down at the lake, they were hungry I knew where I was taking them. We stopped in ordered a pizza for them and hot dogs for me. The pizza was delicious, I saved to slices for my partner and he heated it up for work and said it was still really good a day later. I am super picky when it comes to hot dogs and kraut, both were great! We tried out their new pizza holder for the center of the table, it worked out wonderfully because we had room on the table without feeling cramped! We see a return visit in the future!! “My auntie LOVES this place and every time I go I’m reminded why. Jen is an incredible chef! The only problem with the food is it’s so good I never remember to take a pic until it’s gone.

And the DRINKS! OMG, these guys just sit around coming up with updated takes on old school cocktails and they are CRUSHING it!! Modern gin fizz, updated paper airplane, various beers, wines…I can’t say enough.

Try everything! And make it to one of their special nights. They seem to sell out but try. It’s worth it!!”

“Very convenient, quick in-and -out, a little pricey, but, since they're just up the road, the total cost is about the same, considering that it's almost 20 mile round trip to Meijer or Walmart. The gas savings can almost offset the difference, not to mention the time to drive to South Ionia and back.”
