Im sure I'm not the only one who thinks this, so I will keep it short and simple....That manager, Melany, is EVERYTHING that's wrong with Social House Saranac.. Ive never seen someone so unqualified for a position in my life. She is an awful leader to her "team", treats her "team" like absolute trash, always condescending ,no matter who she is talking too. She constantly has a nasty look on her face and always looking to put HER own problems on someone else. If it's not clear to the owner and the staff that she needs to go, immediately , you really need to wake the hell up.....she will be the sole reason that business will go into the dump. WAKE UP AND REMOVE HER FROM THAT TOWN!!!! Everyone is already fed up with her and I foresee that business going out within the year... thanks...

We have tried this place 3 times with high hopes. The first time the food drinks and service were all 3 bad. They were only open for 3 weeks the first time, so we thought we would wait and try it again when they get the kinks worked out. We tried it again in January, at this visit the food was a tad bit better but the service and drinks were terrible. We reluctantly went again a week ago with friends, this time the service was much better but the food was still bad. We thought we would get a beer this time because the cocktails were bad. Well, the beer was flat. We've heard the breakfast was good, but I'm not wasting my hard-earned money to try it. It's sad this little town couldn't have something decent. The positive is they have a pool table and live music on the weekend. I do not recommend the burger, pulled pork or french dip. Who puts horseradish on french dip, that's all you could taste, the meat or au jus didn't have flavor. 3 strikes and you are out for us, our friends said the same.

I went during the time when they first opened and it was alright. I went again last night and was very impressed. The food was delicious and quite a change from the previous business. You guys are doing a great job! Also that pretzel and cheese is super delicious.

I have enjoyed the atmosphere. I have only had the chicken strips and fries and they were good. Our waitress Susan was and is always so pleasant! She is so joyful and is always smiling and laughing! Makes for a pleasant experience.
SoHo is a great addition to Saranac! We have had nothing but the best service, as well! Susan is a wonderful waitress! She is attentive and takes great care of her people!!

Had their off menu fish special. It was 2 bun size pieces of cod and fries, no coleslaw or roll for $17. Won't do that again, can get walleye at The Moose in Ionia for less with coleslaw and a roll... Definitely not worth the price
