Excellent chef, excellent server, excellent friends, just all around amazing ambiance and food.
Absolutely best dining experience I've had in a long time. We visited in the off season so we had the restaurant basically to ourselves. The food, service, and ambience would definitely be worth a wait or booking in advance. Elijah was our server and bartender he was accommodating, welcoming, fun, and well versed on what he was serving. The drinks were phenomenal and so were the desserts! Don't even get me started on the steaks and sides! Can't wait to visit again
The food was just Amazing!! We had the ribeye and the lobster mac & cheese! It was the best meal ever!! Ann, our server was fantastic!!! We highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Great service and good as always. We are always happy with the value and experiences at Bowdie's.
Food and service were phenomenal. Cozy spot in the corner with a little snow outside...incredibly pleasant experience.
Amazing food! Great service and so friendly. We were lucky to be there in off season so not crowded.
Bowdie's Saugatuck never disappoints! Everyone is amazing! We have a wonderful time celebrating last night! Lawrence is the absolute best!
Always love Bowdies for a special night out! No one in West Michigan has steak like Bowdies.
Food and ambience was as great as ever. This was the first time we had Ann as a server snd thoroughly enjoyed Our interaction and her attention. Great restaurant, food and staff!!
Our server, Michael was excellent. He suggested trying horseradish sauce with the fries and it was a great recommendation. Also we were disappointed that the Black Chicken was not on the wine list. He informed us that the list was being updated but he did say there was one bottle left in stock. That made our decision very easy. A wonderful evening!!

As always, the experience was amazing! We love coming here and it is always a great place for a special occasion.
Our experience at this restaurant was remarkable. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. The food was very good and the service was great. It is a bit pricey, but the experience was a must do.
We dine at Bowdie's every year. This time we were disappointed. The food was delicious as always, but the slow service and weird attic seating brought down our experience. The attic seat was strange because we could hear all of the other tables conversations. We felt like we couldn't talk too loud and there was faint music, but not loud enough to be a buffer of voices. Our service was so slow. We understand that they were busy, but our meal took over 2 1/2 hours for drinks, a starter and an entrée. We had been seated for 40 minutes before we even got our first drink. The entrées took so long to come out. That half of our party ended up leaving before we paid the check because they had been there so long. The waitress was friendly, but when the manager came over to ask how our experience was, and we told her it was very slow, before we even finished answering her question, she snarkily gave the excuse that food was made fresh and takes time. Other tables had gotten their food before us, so I'm not sure what the disconnect was. We would like to return again for the food, but due to the service this time we may have to choose someplace else.
The waitress was so friendly and delightful! The food recommendations were spot on and there was no rush to leave. Highly recommended
Our server, Ryann, was outstanding! She had the best suggestions for drinks, apps, dinner and dessert. We were seated upstairs which had a retro vibe and was very nice, but can be loud with other tables very close by.. Food and drinks were excellent. The filet melts in your mouth! It was a wonderful experience all around!
