We started off with the escargot, which was very mediocre. It was basically snails drenched in butter. Definitely needed lots of garlic and salt. Then we had wedge salads, which were the best wedge salads we've ever had! It's served with Lardon's, which is an amazing substitute for regular bacon. Also, the blue cheese dressing wasn't too blue cheese forward. A perfect balance. We split a bone and fillet. We ordered it just passed medium rare and it came rare....
Another super dining experience ar Bowdies in its most quaint (original location). Jordan our server was very attentive and made us feel welcome. The tuna and escargot appetizer was superb (tuna especially). The Kansa Coty strips were phenomenal and the mushrooms a great compliment. Hats off to the entire Bowdies team.
Food was delicious but took a very long time between courses. Was sat upstairs next to a very loud group of 4 that dominated the room with big voices the entire time. Ambiance was dark and nice. Server was great.
