We decided to eat here while shopping around town because we all like Mexican food. We were not disappointed! We had excellent service, served large portions and the food was very very good. They even brought out an ice cream dessert for a birthday. I would recommend it. I thought everything was very good, especially the guacamole.
We stopped in here for a late lunch but still early enough to order from the lunch menu. We were seated and served quickly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is dark (in a good way), colorful, and fun! Very Day of the Dead! The enchilada sauce was almost sweet, which sounds strange, but it was delicious! We were glad we stopped in! The restroom appears to be shared with a neighboring restaurant so it was a little tricky to find, but it was clean. After lunch we explored the Butler street area, which was fun. A great location!
The service was excellent and I enjoyed the food very much. Mexican restaurants are my favorite and they did not disappoint! The portions were large enough for me to make two meals out of one order.

Not the greatest experience. Stale chips, sweet salsa, a bad margarita and the fajita quesadilla was not only gross to look at, but gross to eat. A plastic looking “cheese” was slathered on top and made the meal look unappetizing. Only good thing was the rice.

We stopped here after an afternoon of roaming around saugatuck. The food was mediocre but we were starving and ate it! It’s what you expect from a Mexican place in a small tourist city. It came out hot and looked good. I had the chimichangas. But made the mistake of getting the ground beef. It was okay. My husband had the Verda enchiladas. He really liked them. The woman that helped serve us was exceptional. She was great and attentive. Maybe the chimichanga was an exception to their food. Again my husband loved his.

Solid mexican food. Large menu selection. Salsa and guac were really good!

American Mexican food. It's good...it's small town expensive. A food truck in Alameda California is far cheaper and more authentic. But when in Saugatuck....it's far better than a Butler burger.

This is a Mexican restaurant. The food is what you would expect, the atmosphere is is what you would expect, the spice level is what you would expect. This isn’t a bad thing, but it doesn’t go way outside the box or do anything to surprise. It is a fine Mexican restaurant that I think every midwestern town has.

We stopped in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised that it was not packed like the other restaurants in town. Needless to say, the service, food atmosphere was great. The Mexican dishes we had were hot, fresh and very delicious. This is definitely a place that we will return to when in Saugatuck. Great value for the quality and service!

Horrible!
Firstly, we had chips with salsa and guacamole while we waited for our take-out order. The salsa and guacamole were both very bland. I requested ice water with our chips (seems like the server would think about asking us if we wanted drinks) and this seemed to put our server out. The water never came and I had to ask another person for something to drink as we ate the bland chips and salsa.
We left and brought our take-out home…
I ordered the chicken burrito, the chicken was watery and bland. I had asked for beans in the burrito and these were scarce. The rice was again bland.
My wife had the veggie burrito and it was beyond horrible. The flavor was again very bland and the burrito was watery and filled with what appeared to be frozen veggies including carrots, cauliflower, broccoli,, and large chunks of onions. There was nearly no protein, we had a hard time finding beans…barely a smear of refried beans(?). She requested cheese on the burrito and it was covered with a watery bland nacho cheese sauce.
We cannot believe this restaurant had 4+ stars. We are visiting from California and this place would not last a month in a town that has decent Mexican eats. Yuck! What a waste of money and calories.

Louis was very attentive and polite with a happy disposition. The food was very flavorful. Our meals were prepared quickly and served hot. Highly recommend this restaurant. Best Mexican food from San Diego to Michigan!
