Our first time at Marro's in Saugatuck - the Clams Linguini with was delicious - the best I've had anywhere in a very long time! And we also had the Chicken Parmagiana - it too was delicious! Terrific attentive service in a very comfortable atmosphere, seated in a booth by a window with cloth table cloths and napkins. So glad we made it to Marro's before they close for the season! Looking forward to returning soon after they re-open again after winter, next April....
We loved it. Sat outside on a beautiful September evening. Drinks were good (and generous). Pizza was excellant. The green peppers on it were fresh and snappy, which I don't think I've ever had on a pizza before. The cheesecake lived up to its reputation. (Husband said it's the best he's ever had). Prices were reasonable. Service was a little slow because it was busy, but we didn't mind, because we just wanted to soak up the nice weather and atmosphere....
My tip is to arrive early as once open the restaurant fills up quickly. We sat on the patio and were greeted immediately by our friendly server. We opted for no drinks and appetizers this night and started our meal with a delicious Caesar salad. My entree of clams linguini with wine sauce arrived steamy and delicious. I highly recommend indulging yourself with the melt in your mouth garlic knot rolls! These are a must! We had a top of the line meal and will return next time we...
