We stopped at Phil's to grab an early dinner after spending the day at the beach. The place was packed but my party of 7 only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Food took a little bit to get but understandable given how busy it was. I got a burger that I enjoyed a lot and their fries were fresh and crispy. My mom got half a salad with chicken and she said it was delicious and a big portion for a half. They also have a kids menu. Our waitress was attentive and kept or drinks filled (we didn'tget any alcoho). A little loud but it's a bar so I get it. Overall, solid option when visiting Saugatuck.

Love love love Phil's!!! The food is great comfort food; I especially love the walleye. If you like fish, get that! The servers are wonderful and truly take good care of their customers. They treat you like family. They do not take reservations so there is sometimes a very long wait to get a table but we always wait by the bar and have a drink while we wait. They are open year round which is nice especially in the winter when many other restaurants in the area are closed. Phil's is one of my favs in Saugatuck!

Every time we are in Saugatuck, we make sure to stop by. The food and cocktails are always on point.
The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. Would absolutely recommend!! Also, big thanks to Phil's staff for putting mom's birthday on the marquee. She loved it.

Ohhhh myy gooooshhh the best place ever!! Gooo! The food the atmosphere! Ask for Kaitlyn she was fantastic!! Food... Incredible the Walleye omg and the filate migon was unreal. Ohhh wait the app.... Scallops omg.... Insane the best food we have ever had!! Highly recommend I usually add photos, but we already ate all the food so there’s no photos!! That's how good. MUST GO

Called ahead, looking for a dog friendly choice. The woman on the phone said yes we are. We showed up and waited patiently on others being seated. The woman up front said, no sorry no dogs. I explained we called first. She snickered and said not here. I had my wife show her the number and time called. Woman was rude and snobby. Neither quality works for a hostess. Probably for the better. Place was loud, dimly lit, and horribly cramped. Place must be a locals only type establishment. Could've been handled better very easily. I can't recommend this place after my experience. Sorry, but no-go. MVP
