Owner is totally rude against people with disabilities. Had my service dog in there and was asked to leave. I think the owner needs to understand Ada rules. He thinks he knows it but he doesn't.
All he wants to do is just think that every dog is an emotional support dog. Why don't you find out before hand what the dog is actually for and used for. Very very rude.
Will report this restaurant to the ada.
PS His rebuttal is totally wrong. My dog had his vest on. He was excepted everywhere else with out a problem.
However he attack with, "Oh emotional support dog." Never asked what the dog did for me.

I'm giving it a one-star because I walked in with my service animal. I'm not talking an emotional support animal. I'm talking about a service animal that I have had service animals for 20 years. And the owner had the nerve to throw us out of his restaurant before we even had a chance to sit down because he was so rude to people. I do not recommend going to this pizza shop ever.

Update to my original post about a disappointing pizza order. Just want to say that the owners offered me another one as compensation. Decided to take them up on their offer and glad I did. The new pizza was really a great one! Good toppings and very flavorful. The mark of a good business is how they handle complaints. This one's a ?

If you are in the Saugatuck area and your mouth is watering for some delicious pizza, look no further. From the first bite of goodness in their deluxe pizza, I knew right away that we have reached heaven. The tender olives and luscious cheese, coupled with the perfection of a thin crust masterpiece, left us speechless. Only an average man would not eat at this pizza kingdom. It is as if God’s hand walked us to this hidden Gem. Not only is the pizza magnificent, but the wine is to die for. You can eat on the street where the wind blows through your hair and you can enjoy the presence of random people’s dogs. This place is unmatched.

While every other restaurant closes at 8 PM on Saturdays, Scooters was open. We had taken an extra long sailing tour and returned famished. Thank GOODNESS for this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pizza was good and definitely satisfied our cravings. There had a few options for a vegetarian like myself.

Went here for the best pizza in saugatuck last night and they didn't disappoint. Always great service, tasty drinks and delicious food everytime! Their New York style pizza has a great chew, copious amounts of toppings and a red sauce like no other around. Hands down 5 starts ever visit! Keep up the great work y'all!

Just a couple blocks off of the craziness of crowded downtown Saugatuck...we got in with no wait...the waitress was the best. Super personable! We ordered New York style thin crust with custome toppings. Delicious. Hot and fresh. This was a hidden gem after a crazy day of fight crowds and tourists
