Where to being, the customer service was 10/10. The restaurant was warm welcome and clean. The street corn briochetta was jam packed with flavor and was the perfect appetizer. Drinks were steller: tirimitini was dessert in a cup, the pear nessessities was sweet and refreshing, lastly, the gin and barret was exquisite and a good balance. Pizzas were ordered all around the table: bbq brisket pizza, pickle and dill, and raspberry with goat cheese. Every pizza was cooked to perfection and such a taste sensation. To top off everything we had the peanut butter pie that just sold everything. The service was top tier, we never felt neglected or as a second thought. Can't wait to come back!

Just moved to the area and my first time here. Sat at the bar and ordered crab stuffed mushrooms & a mocktail called Pear Pressure. All were delish and Jeremiah was a delight- he made my night and I will def be coming back!! Oh and Nick the manager stopped by to see if everyone was happy at the bar. The Butler will be my summer hangout :D

Okay I'm changing my review 6-8 years later. The Butler makes one of the most amazing hamburgers I've ever had in the saugatuck area. I know it's just a hamburger but it was perfectly cooked it was the right size and being at the Butler looking over the Kalamazoo River was a true pleasure right at sunset at the end of March.

A huge thank you to The Butler for celebrating Jen’s 50th Birthday, from the management staff, Morgan, Grant and Nick, to our server Zack and bartender Leslie, they went above and beyond to make it special, the whole restaurant even sang happy birthday! The kitchen staff with the food is top notch, from egg rolls, to burgers. Thank you for making this day so special for her.

Enjoyed A burger and sweet potatoe fries while my wife had the walleye and chips.
Great location, friendly and responsive service. Dinner all tasted good. Burger was ordered medium expecting some pink but was prepared more like well. In and out in a hour, perfect.

Prices were $18 for the burger and fries and $20 for the Fish and chips. (A small basket of bread or crackers would’ve been nice for a supplier appetizer). Paid $16 for 5 Crab stuffed button cap mushrooms (on the high side) and wife had a specialty pear drink for $12. It’s what Id expect with a popular location by the river and in Saugatuck. Total bill was $67 plus tip.

Overall very nice experience but probably could have had the same great a few miles away in a less popular location for $15-$20 less.

Kid-friendliness: Good family friendly atmosphere,

Wheelchair accessibility: Very wide ramp leading up to front door.

Sat at the bar on Valentine's Day! Ate dessert here! Old school vibe! I'm sure it's pretty in the summer! Right on the lake!
