The food was delicious! We especially enjoyed the porridge and oats . The staff were so friendly, and gave very give recommendations on drinks and food!
The first picture of the avocado toast was very misrepresentative of what we were actually served, which was pretty much the most basic bag o' wheat bread you could buy at family fare, with the absolute minimal amount of avocado on it. Maybe visit a bakery and get some real bread.
The 4 ingredient juice we ordered with Kale 100% didn't have Kale, so missed out there too.
Edit: The owner kindly messaged back and provided a refund for the meal. I appreciate the response and hope they will continue to be as responsive to feedback and improve their food.

We hopped of the highway to stop by Tree Of Life to get a quick vegan lunch. The smoothie was tasty, the toast was small but surprisingly tasty, and the açaí bowl was pretty but bland. Add a sweeter topping if you decide to get it! Overall it was handy, healthy, and gave us a chance to see how cute Sagatuck is.

I am always going to support a plant-based restaurant, and by golly, I am going to again here. Tree of Life Juice is a vegan smoothie bar in downtown Saugatuk. It is right next to New Holland's Saugatuk drinking room, so you can order a healthy smoothie at Tree of Life and get a different type of drink right next door.
Tree of Life has a cute and colorful interior with artistic paintings of plants throughout. As a side benefit, they have a good amount of plant-based merchandise at the front of the restaurant, so if you want any quirky or witty vegan t-shirts, this is a solid location to find it. Unfortunately, most of the merchandise I saw did not have options for men. I am not against wearing clothing traditionally for women, I just find the cut does not suit my body well.
Now, the main attraction is Tree of Life's food. The smoothie was a fruity, sippable, healthy sugar boast as I strolled downtown Saugatuk and explored the many boutiques. I did not try any of the other food choices. The smoothies are definitely the focus of the menu.

Hands down the best açaí bowls in Michigan, I’m from California and totally spoiled with açaí bowls so it’s pretty up there! But let’s talk about the pink paradise bowl, it’s amazing - make sure to add bananas:) Also, I love their options to make your own pressed juice flavors. Stop by you won’t regret it!

Absolutely delicious and refreshing juices made with perfect blends of vegetables and fruits that are packed with so many nutrients! Re-zest and cool as a cucumber are my go-tos! Love that they have the option to customize your own fresh juice as well! I would have to say that this is THE spot for the best acai bowls! My favorite would have to be the Pink Paradise bowl, but you can’t go wrong with any of them! And the avocado toast?? Chef’s kiss! Great customer service - the staff and owners are super friendly and knowledgeable! 10/10 would recommend!!
