Great atmosphere, great beer and wine, and friendly attentive staff. The best spinach artichoke dip I have ever had.

This is probably a great college student hang out. For the Gen X crowd not so much. Had floaties in my wine which was the redeemer of this spot. Not the floaties but the replacement wine. The peach apricot fruit wine was delicious. The view is probably great too but it was too hot today for us to go on the rooftop. The pretzel was huge and the mustard was sweet and spicy. The cheese was okay. The pizza crust had a good flavor but the sauce was runny and the cheese congealed quickly making it quite limp. We had to find our own silverware to eat the limp pizza. We had to ask for our box and receipt, while the wait staff played on their phones, with their nails and gossiped. Moral of the story go for the wine, apps and view.

Soo Brewery was my recent destination via Whitefish Bay scenic highway. Make all the stops and take in a hike, wet your feet in the sandy Shallows, or view the lighthouse along the route. The craft beer here is outstanding! I love the Old English IPA and the Maggie’s Red. These two are about 7% ABV, so slow down and enjoy the flavor. Hungry? Handmade pizza is a mainstay at Soo Brewery and you won’t be disappointed. Stroll the streets of historic Sault Ste. Marie afterwards or view one of the great freighters as they pass through the Soo Locks.

I recently went to the Soo Brewing Company and 1668 Winery at 100 W Portage Ave, in Sault Ste. Marie, MI The atmosphere and staff were both very nice. The beer was very good and the chipotle chicken wrap was delicious

Great food, great drinks. The pizza bites for an appetizer were absolutely delicious. I lost my ring down the sink drain, let the staff know and they said they would try to help. Got a call a few hours later, they found the ring! Everyone was super sweet and friendly.

I tried two beers and the Soo Brewing Company and was happy with both. They had no off flavors and were quite smooth. The staff was friendly if just a bit rushed, and the bar seemed nice and comfortable. It made a nice stop on my trip through the area.

Pizza would have been very good if it did not have a two inch crust all the way around. I do not like paying for only .crust

My husband and I visited here on a Tuesday evening in July while on vacation. It wasn’t very busy at all. We sat on the patio (which is dog friendly) and were the only people out there. The staff were very friendly. I got a wine flight- the pineapple peach was delicious! My husband got a beer. We didn’t order any food.

Food: We tried the garlicy pizza bites, which didn't taste special, they were alright, I think I would rather try a different appetizer. We also tried the classic poutine which was much better. Beer was tasty!Staff: Friendly and attentive.Overall a nice atmosphere, would definitely stop in again if I find myself in the area in the future.

I’ve been here twice so far and not impressed with the beer. Most just aren’t good. Had their hazy ipa (pictured) and the water chemistry is way off leaving a chalky taste and the beer doesn’t even look good. Then had their Irish ale which wasn’t too bad, but way too malt forward for the style. The food wasn’t too bad and we overall had a good time there, but since the beer needs a lot of work, I’m giving this place 2 stars.

Very enjoyable brewhouse / restaurant. Pleasant staff and wonderful selection of beer on tap. Caution to the Wind stands out. Tastes like an ale you could have in a local Belgian brewery. Just good!
