Bar tender was very rude. From the moment we walked in the door he seemed annoyed by us. (This was our first stop and we were all sober so it wasn’t like we were being drunk and rude or anything) After he went through the list of what they didn’t have for drinks…we were trying to decide what to order. No drink menu either. He was rude to me and my brother in law. When asked to repeat a question about the drink options he seemed so annoyed and talked to us like we were all stupid. It was dead inside, no reason to act impatient and rushed with us. Very unprofessional. I will never return.

Me and a group went to Austin’s for New Year’s Eve for the first time. I was not happy when the bartender was rude to my boyfriend. He said something along the lines of, “You missed all of what I said to them,” (referring to others in the group who asked what was on tap) when my boyfriend simply also asked what was on tap. He was busy talking with me about what I wanted since he was ordering on my behalf.

My boyfriend ordered a water for me and I didn’t get it until 15ish minutes after the people at my table had already received their drinks. Bartender apologized but damage was done given his rude remark from earlier. Other customers were very rowdy and noisy when this establishment brags on social about a “quiet relaxing environment for customers to enjoy a drink and a cigar.”

Overall not a great experience at all and definitely will not be returning. The only good thing to note is that the bathrooms were clean and it was a decent environment.

I was in the area so I figured I’d stop by and grab a stick for the road. I arrived ten minutes after they opened to a dismissive dude, I asked about a specific stick he didn’t seem interested in selling anything so I left… the bar looked cool, I would have enjoyed it but just didn’t feel like a welcoming place imo.

Also notice, every single negative review include an (it’s not my fault) excuse from the owner. lol

The bar tender Dominick was professional and always helpful. Plan to come there more often due to his customer service

Excellent Cigar Lounge with a full bar and dozens of craft cocktails. Located in historic downtown Sault Ste. Marie, it’s a must stop for cigar aficionados and cocktail enthusiasts alike. The owner Craig is a friendly local guy who must appreciate the cigar lounge ascetic and the downtown identity as it shows throughout his lounge. As the only Cigar Lounge in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Austin’s Cigar Lounge must be protected at all costs!

Good drinks, moderate selection of cigars... Kinda empty on the Friday and Sunday when we went.

Tim is the best bartender by far in the Soo Michigan!! He not only made tte best cocktails but also had the best recommendations! My friend and I didn’t smoke at all but had the best cocktails there!! Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Knowledgeable staff with a great selection but they don’t adjust their hours on the fly so I’d call first

Some friends and I came into Austin's very late last weekend and the Dominick the bartender was very knowledgeable with cigars and whiskeys. We may have outstayed our welcome, but Dominick was VERY accommodating and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you're looking for a place to settle down with some friends to play cards while enjoying fine whiskeys and equally enjoyable cigars.
