Walked in, waited for 5 minutes to even be addressed by staff, and then was treated like an inconvenience by the waitress, and was then charged 17.39$ for this. The listed menu price on their own website is 10.99. The waitress just hung up on my sister (who paid the bill) after refusing to give any information on management to contact further to be refunded what was overcharged. Be very careful and triple check your bill. I shouldn't have been charged for a five dollar tip on a takeout item, against my wishes, to be ignored and treated like trash. I have always loved Franks Diner. I don't know if the place has changed hands or what is different, but the service is awful and I'll not recommend, nor frequent, an establishment that operates in such a manner.

Frank's is a fixture in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. It is one of the few restaurants open year-round. My Parents (both in their 90s) enjoy breakfast at Frank's everyday. Service is excellent, and the food is fresh and prepared well. They can get crowded in the summer season, so you may, at times, have to wait a bit, but the crew does a good job keeping food coming out. For a traditional breakfast, try Frank's. You won't be disappointed. Lastly, a shout out to Tiffany, who takes exceptional care of my Parents, both on and off duty...!

Would have recommended to anyone until today. Went in for breakfast waiter took our order and went and sat down at a table talking to a friend. After 15 minutes went the kitchen, came back said it’s taking longer than normal and sat back down with his friend. He never turned our order into the kitchen. We just left

Little diner style eatery. Very quaint. My wife and I were impressed by the portions. I got a skillet and ate what I could at the restaurant and then ate the left overs for lunch back at our hotel and I was completely full both times. Next time we visit the Sault area we will undoubtedly return.
