Stopped in for lunch after visiting the Locks and shops. Was busy but didn't have to wait long for a table. Loved the menu selection and the story. Good food fast and hot. Upstairs was closed unfortunately, would have liked to see the view.

Busy restaurant accoss from the Soo Locks. There was a constant flow of happy customers coming and leaving. Fresh lake fish offered. Along with other tasty choices.

Great food and great service. We watched a freighter go through the locks while having dinner and drinks. Would recommend.

TL;DR: Average food, subpar service, and average atmosphere.

Once upon a time you could sit upstairs and watch the locs while eating. This is no longer true. The town has built a two story observation deck that now blocks your view of the locs. You still get an excellent view of the park.
The hostess gave patrons different instructions. We requested a table upstairs, we were told to have a seat and wait and we would be told when a table upstairs was ready. The next three groups of people with same request were told to go upstairs and talk to the hostess upstairs and the upstairs hostess would seat them when a table became available. When we were finally seated all 3 of those groups had been seated and served. I have no clue why we were given different instructions. The waitress took our order an hour and a half before they closed, but as we tried to place our orders we were told they were in the process of closing the kitchen and certain items we asked for were no longer available. The food was average, I don't even think I got the correct order. I order the deep fried cajun white fish. If I had ordered the deep-fried white fish, I would have said it was great, but their wasn't a hint of spice.

We had dinner there yesterday! Amazing Food and Server! Smiling, Friendly and Timely! 5 star experience! I've never had a bad meal there! Do yourself a favor...go!!

Waited 1 1/2 hours for a table of 8. Plenty of open 4 seat tables that could have been pushed together for table of 8. Restaurant staff refused to accommodate the request. Should have left at the hour mark, but already committed due to the time. They were out of Ribeyes and after I had ordered the Ruben, they come back and now are out of sauerkraut. Food is good, but restaurant did nothing to accommodate the wait or not having certain food. Would not recommend for 5 or more groups.
