The whitefish dinner and salad is great here! Server was friendly. They have tv’s showing the traffic going through the Soo Locks. The interior is a bit dated but the food is really good. We happened to stumble upon this place visiting Soo Locks! It was excellent! We really got there just in time before they closed for the season, and were out of a few things, but that didn’t hinder the experience at all. In order, we got the Whitefish Basket with sweet potato fries, the club sandwich, and the whitefish dinner with wild rice and mashed potatoes. Kyle, our server was very kind! Everything was absolutely delicious. I personally had the whitefish basket, and as someone who doesn’t eat a lot of fish or had never tried whitefish before, this was a great choice. Thanks Kyle for a great experience! Can’t wait to come back again one day!

Food is good and staff is great. We had the steak and crab legs . A bit pricey for the amount of crab . Very friendly.
The Ruben white fish sandwich was outstanding. Do not shy away from this sandwich! The Whitefish chowder rivals all the seafood chowders I’ve ever had.Delicious! Great choice for lunch or dinner.

The whitefish was so fresh and tasty! The whitefish chowder was good too as was our sweet clam’s appetizer. I’ll definitely be back to try the whitefish Cajun style. Very fast service too.

This is a fast food restaurant so forget any notion of a leisurely meal while watching ships in the lock if you are lucky.The food was ordinary although well presented but my plate was cleared while my wife was still eating. You cannot make a reservation and there was a long line waiting to enter. I would not return.

Great breakfast. I ordered the southern omelette, and added mushrooms, and it is fantastic and delicious.Just good solid comfort food in a home-cooked (diner?) style. Staff was friendly, accommodating and attentive.Also it was only $12.51, so this place is a excellent value and I will absolutely recommend eating here for breakfast again tomorrow.It was recommended to me to come here for the fresh caught fish, I'll have to come another time to try those offerings.

I have never left a bad review before. I don't like doing this. However after thinking about this for a few days I have decided too. My wife and I had dinner at Lockview restaurant Saturday 9/16/2023 around 4 and 5 o'clock. The food was awesome, the view itself was awesome as well. However the person who waited on us was very unfriendly. And it's funny because they have a sign upstairs on the podium or stand where the host or hostess greet you basically talking about how we as customers should treat the staff, and if not we can be asked to leave. Which I get and totally agree customers should be polite and respectful to the hard working staff. But I wonder when one of the staff is rude, unfriendly or whatever does the customer then have the right to ask them to leave as well? And for the record I did try calling yesterday to speak to a manager because that is the way I would have rather dealt with the matter than leaving this review. However I was told the manager had left for the day. And they could take my name and number. And after one more day of thinking about everything that is why I have finally decided to leave a review. Again awesome food and atmosphere. Just unfriendly service!
