I am a native Texan. I moved here to study at LSSU, and I was not expecting anything comparable to Texas BBQ. I ordered the brisket fries.
I was wrong.
The brisket was perfect. The good, smoky flavor I normally associate with white oak was present, the meat was tender, the seasoning was great. I would have absolutely no problem comparing the quality of this brisket with any of the great Texan joints- city market, blacks, salt lick, killens- on any day of the week.
If these guys figure out a good spare rib recipe, and i have no doubt they can, I would go so far as to promise to be in their excellently heated teepee year round.

Best food in the Sault. The carnitas tacos with everything are my go to. Everything we have had here has been amazing. The unfortunate part is location. Dependent upon street parking could potentially be a problem but has never been one for us.

Amazing BBQ. Had chicken tacos and killer hotdog. I was blown away ! Very picky about BBQ and these chicken tacos were amazing. Smoky , tender and moist.
Visiting the area for work and was dead tired when I got to the Soo, ordered through Doordash. Got street tacos and poutine fries. Crazy combo but both dishes were fire. Next time I'm in Sault Sainte Marie I'm going in person. #

Ignore the lot and neighborhood. The food here is well beyond the atmosphere. The food was spectacular. Ribbon fries were absolutely off the charts. The smoked meats were flavorful and juicy. The portions were perfect.
