Our Limestone FCU team went to Penny’s Kitchen for breakfast prior to doing volunteer activities at Hospice. Breakfast was amazing!! I highly recommend the pancakes and anytime you stop here you have to try the sugar cookies!
Thank you to Penny's Kitchens for the delicious food and amazing service!

Our team recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Penny’s Kitchen before our CU Kind Day activities, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group, making us feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed.
The breakfast spread was delicious! A few of our team members from Manistique could not resist the temptation of the sugar cookies on display and ended up purchasing some to take home for their kids.
Overall, Penny’s Kitchen provided the perfect start to our CU Kind Day. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great meal and friendly service! #CuKindDay

Arrived right before the lunch rush. I thought it was sit down and order but you order at the register and meal is delivered to you. Prices a little high but the food was delicious and great portion size. Easy parking on the street. It's worth a visit.

Penny's Kitchen (St. Ignace.) Lunch. Via was Counter Service, and Waitress - Friendly, Welcoming, Happy, Efficient, great at her job. Then, there was Melissa, who makes terrific food and listens to customers' requests, when passed on from Via. She made one of the best Corned Beef Reubens I've had. My sister Jane had the Ham Club, also good. We both took out half of our sandwiches for dinner plus a carryout of Tuna & Shells for tomorrow.   Personally, I could have picked at least 4 other things I would have enjoyed.  Thank goodness, the first restaurant we planned on turned out to be closed for the season, and  we would have missed trying Penny's.  So worth going to.

Delicious food made fresh. Walking distance from downtown. Sandwiches, soups and desserts.

Parking: Street parking with a side lot available with about 20 spaces. Could be busy at lunch time with a hospital nearby.

With the posted reviews, we definitely expected more. The waitress was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Five of us ate breakfast and only one liked their meal. My daughter’s Belgium waffle was like cardboard, had no whipped cream and topped with several moldy strawberries. The bagel sandwich came with an inch thick piece of sausage. Pretty unappetizing. Croissant sandwich was so soggy. Omelette was so bland. The biscuits and gravy looked pink. The prices are outrageous for some things and other things make sense. A side of bacon (2 pieces) is $5 as is a glass of juice! We spent over $100 with tip for breakfast and it was not worth $30.

Wow, what a great place. Stopped for lunch with friends and we all agree we could meet here every week. Great food, friendly staff, clean. Everything I could want in a restaurant.

Cute place, very nice staff. It gets a 3 because the gumbo was NOT good. Tasted like it was last week's reheat. My mister had the farmer's omelette and said it was delicious!
