It's a cute little spot to have a sandwich & coffee with friends. They have the best reubens!

My partner and I went for breakfast here on our U.P. road trip. The woman at the counter who took our order and delivered us our food was kind and funny. The food was absolutely delicious and came at an affordable pricetag, the portions were also massive! This establishment has gone on our rotation of awesome restaurants in Sault Ste. Marie and we will definitely return!

Quick service & decent sandwiches. Would recommend for a quick lunch. Appreciated that they had GF bread as an option.

When visiting Sault Ste. Marie, MI we always plan on having at least one meal at Penny's Kitchen. It is a locally owned business and offers something extraordinary other than the usual restaurant fare. There is something for everyone. Also, there is a very good selection of delicious desserts. They have several different choices of coffee and a varied breakfast and lunch menu. We have never been disappointed eating at Penny's. It is clean and run very efficiently.

I was very impressed with this place. Lots of seating and very welcoming. My husband and I ordered omelets. Both were stuffed full and hot. I think the English muffins were homemade and delicious. Lots of options on the menu for breakfast and lunch. Coffee smelled wonderful....highly recommend trying.

Not expecting somewhat self service. Not a normal restaurant. Grab a menu, order at the counter, get your own coffee, they bring your food to your table. Food was okay.

We always hit Penny's Kitchen for breakfast whenever we up go to the Soo. The quality is consistently excellent, & the ingredients are fresh. Their toast is amazing, & the sausage patties are wonderful. Try a lemon bar with your coffee (you'll thank me later).

As good as the food is, the service is what makes it special. Jen (she has the Mohawk 'do) always takes great care of us, but she's tough enough to keep us in line when we get too feisty. I always smile when I walk in & see she's working. I was astounded this last visit when I walked in & she asked if I wanted my usual white milk -- I hadn't been in for half a year!

I highly recommend Penny's, & I can't recommend Jen enough.

Penny’s is a required breakfast stop for me whenever I take a trip to the Soo. Great food, great service. Especially love walking in and seeing Jen’s smiling face! She’s always super on top of everything and remembers us even if we only see her a couple times a year.
