We love Penny's Kitchen! We had breakfast and also bought cookies and other treats! Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be back!

I was very impressed with this place. Lots of seating and very welcoming. My husband and I ordered omelets. Both were stuffed full and hot. I think the English muffins were homemade and delicious. Lots of options on the menu for breakfast and lunch. Coffee smelled wonderful....highly recommend trying.

Not expecting somewhat self service. Not a normal restaurant. Grab a menu, order at the counter, get your own coffee, they bring your food to your table. Food was okay.

We always hit Penny's Kitchen for breakfast whenever we up go to the Soo. The quality is consistently excellent, & the ingredients are fresh. Their toast is amazing, & the sausage patties are wonderful. Try a lemon bar with your coffee (you'll thank me later).

As good as the food is, the service is what makes it special. Jen (she has the Mohawk 'do) always takes great care of us, but she's tough enough to keep us in line when we get too feisty. I always smile when I walk in & see she's working. I was astounded this last visit when I walked in & she asked if I wanted my usual white milk -- I hadn't been in for half a year!

I highly recommend Penny's, & I can't recommend Jen enough.

Penny’s is a required breakfast stop for me whenever I take a trip to the Soo. Great food, great service. Especially love walking in and seeing Jen’s smiling face! She’s always super on top of everything and remembers us even if we only see her a couple times a year.

Jen is the best! She has waited on our group a couple times a year for many years. She always remembers us. Fantastic service. Food is always great, home made taste.

Great little joint to have food that is a closest thing to homemade. My husband loved their pastys and my little guy loved their pancakes. We definitely will be back when we are back in town

With so many options, it's almost difficult to choose from. Considering everything sounds delicious. But I can confirm that the cinnamon french toast is by far the best I've ever had. The cinnamon is baked in the bread, not just mixed in the egg mixture. Definitely recommend visiting.

Food was amazing and food arrived quickly. I had a mocha latte and the buttermilk pancakes. Restaurant was bitterly cold and it's odd that you are asked to pay and tip before receiving your food.
