Went here for years and years in college and it was wonderful. During i500, I had the absolute worst service I’ve ever had in my life. The bartender, bigger dark haired girl, doesn’t know what’s in a drink, is very rude, over charged us for well vodka, and refused to check in on us period while we did not have a drink in front of us. They’re super wasteful and do not reuse cups even when customers request it. I’ve tried to like this bartender three different times. Sad to see my favorite bar go down in a few years. Review from a bartender in the industry that tips VERY well.

This establishment was so so, but we really didn't know what to expect. We visited this weekend, and knew that they had live music playing so we scheduled it near the end of our night out. Coming in, we found the place dark and packed, many people discussing consuming cocaine which was off putting. I went to the bar to get drinks, and the bartender was out of the first four items I asked for, so I had to settle for a different drink. When paying for the drinks, the bartender let me know it was cash for under $10, and didn't tell me until after she opened the drinks and was lucky I had cash on me. Overall, I don't think I'd be back. It's a pretty fairly sketchy place and not somewhere I'd want to be alone as a woman.

Stopped in on a visit to town - came in just as it opened in the evening. Extremely friendly staff, really good drinks, and all well priced. Will 100% come back next time we're in town! Also - ask for a Colorado Bulldog. Coke, milk, Kahlua, and Vodka...like a boozy root beer float!

My friend Char and I stopped in this afternoon after a busy day of shopping in the Soo. Tara was awesome!!! Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! Free popcorn!!! My friend remembered having a mini beer there previously and we were pleased to learn that you get a free shot glass when you buy one! Only $4!!! They have karaoke on weekends!!! Can't wait to return!!!

$4 pitchers on Wednesdays and Karaoke Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Popcorn is spot on.

Great dive bar! Great beer prices! Has darts and pool. Couple TVs. Cool waitress. Pretty dark in here with not too many lights. Fun is to be had here though! haha. GREAT FREE POPCORN ðŸ‘

Happened in while walking Portage on our last night in the Soo. Was surprised to find only one other couple in the bar on a Saturday night. We were greeted and served by Zack. We chatted a while. Then we heard a new voice from behind the bar say, "Hi! I'm tired." I craned to see who it was and met eye with Kate. I said, "Hi, I'm Jon." Our connection was instant. The point is, Kate is amazing. The bar began to pick up around 10:30 pm and we needed to grab some shut eye before our flight the next day. If you find yourself in the Soo, find Kate. You won't be disappointed.
