A restaurant that is praised for "good Mexican food" is a complete lie. I have never been so disgusted while eating sub-par Mexican food; Taco Bell on a bad day is better that this place on its best. The only time I can recommend the palace is on margarita Monday where you can possibly stomach your velveeta & rotel appetizer *Fried flour chips*. I'm still confused to this day how you can have "german nachos" at a Mexican restaurant. If this review wasn't enough to get you to not waste your money watching the cringiest youtube video about their "authentic Mexican food" should solidify it for ya. Every time someone eats at the palace, Carlos Mencia tells another joke. If you're wondering what the relation of The Palace and Carlos Mencia is? Well i'll tell ya, he's a comedian who changed his name from "Ned" to "Carlos" so he could appeal to Mexican Americans in LA. In essence they're both frauds in the Mexican food/culture..

Ordered 10oz Ribeye with bake potatoes then was told only had potatoes at a certain time of the day. I guess dinner time isn't the time. Beans and rice with my $27 ribeye. Took bit of steak cold. Won't go there again waste of

Great place to eat in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan. Burrito was very good and my wife loved her margarita. Service was fantastic. Austin did a great job. We will be back for sure. Once a year trip to Sault Ste. Marie for Hockey.

I was hoping to find a bit of a hidden gem in this place, but unfortunately this wasn't the case. The large margarita was more mix and sweetness than needed. The queso chicken chimichanga was good. The options for sides were rice and beans (either whole black beans or refried beans). I chose refried beans but still had to chew them as it had more whole beans than expected. I wasn't super impressed by the cheese dip either. The one reprieve was the guacamole as it was one of the best ones I've had in a long time. I also had a 10% off, but the staff wasn't able to successfully quantify 10% of the total food price.

Not super impressed with anything here besides maybe the decor. Our waitress was very sweet but overworked for sure. It took about 15 minutes, maybe more just for waters. Our food arrived in a timely manner but my dinner was missing part of it & it was one of the most expensive items on the menu. My friends were already done with their dinners before I could ask for the rest of my meal. And tbh, I was not impressed with the food at all. The steak was burnt, the shrimp overcooked, but the rice & beans were really good. For 30 bucks, I don't think it was worth it at all. I was so sad because I expected it to be wonderful by the smells. May try another time on a different day.

Disappointed in the queso. It's very orange and canned tasting.Quesadilla was 97% chicken and 3% cheese, not the right proportions.Fajitas were tasty, cheeseburger was good too.
