Best burger in town. Hands down. Only downside is its seasonal. But that just makes it a more enjoyable summertime treat . Go for the double bacon and enjoy your nap.

This place is a little out of the way, but came highly recommended by several of our local friends. They don't have a dining room and service is via extremely diligent car hops. We didn't mind that, they have several outside tables if you choose not to eat in your car. We had some of the best hamburgers we have ever had. My wife ordered a classic cheeseburger and fries, my son and I ordered mushroom swiss burgers and an order of fries to share. The burgers are 8 oz and they are very generous with the toppings, and a regular order of fries was somewhere between 12&14 oz. Neither my wife or I could finish our burgers and we took fries home. Another thing I really liked is they offered a very good quality gluten free bun for their sandwiches. I have Celiac and it can be challenging to get fast food.

Parking: They are located directly across the street from the lake Superior side of the Soo lock entry channel. We enjoyed watching the freighters while we ate.

Ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the mushroom burger with onion rings Fantastic! The burgers are huge! The mushrooms are cooked in a mushroom soup so its gravy like. Will definitely be returning next season!!

Hands down the best burger and fries I have ever had that I didn't make myself. The portion sizes are enormous, (one order of fries is more than plenty to share between two adults, just FYI!) The quality is absolutely outstanding. There isn't a single thing that needs to change. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the meal that you get. 10/10 all day long!

The food was absolutely awesome!!! And the girls were at your door to take your order before you could get your car in Park. And then brought the food out so fast it was incredible. I would definitely recommend going to this Drive-In

Our upper peninsula trips always include a stop at this establishment. The food is greasy and fattening but ridiculously delicious. This place takes cash only, CASH MONEY, so do plan accordingly.
I've personally eaten here over a dozen times and even have done a Clyde's vs West Pier challenge eating both simultaneously, West Pier comes out ahead every time.
You might be tempted for a mere $3 more to add a double patty. We have found that it simply gets to be too big and messy. Almost to the point it's an edible or you need utensils. It tastes amazing but we would highly recommend you either get two single patties. (The double patty is a pound of meat)
Overall we love this restaurant and hope it never goes out of business. We love taking the food to watch the ships at various parks. Utilizing french fries as currency to win over the love of seagulls.
If I found out tomorrow morning that this restaurant was closing, I would make a specific and special trip just to have it one last time even if it meant in 8 hour round trip drive total.
Here's to many more great years. Clyde's is not overrated, come at me.

Was a great hidden gem! If you like burgers. Hubby loved the fish and you could tell it was a patty. Hamburger was a fresh paddy and I have never had as many onion rings as I did for the price. Staff was really friendly and busy! Would come back again if ever this way!
