Overall would go again. Multiple gluten free options. Had some minor issues but the food was good, didn’t get sick and the staff made the issue right.

Everything was lovely. We stopped in for a couple of cocktails after dinner on my wife's birthday. Staff was awesome. Other customers were awesome. Drinks were awesome! Highly recommend.

I was super excited about this place. Pictures and reviews were very promising. I went with a group of 8 people to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant was super cute and the atmosphere was upscale. Upon being seated, the waitress was not very warm; she wasn’t unpleasant but not welcoming or helpful when it came to the menu. She did not give any suggestions and stood quietly on one side of the table for orders. The end of the table didn’t even get to add an app because they were not even addressed.

Appetizers were decent, I liked the whipped feta. Drinks were very disappointing. No one at my table ordered past their first drink. When it came to the entrees, most of the table was unhappy. The people who got the Salmon and the pork belly tacos were happy. 3 of the 8 ordered the steak frites. Every plate was under the ordered temp. My husband’s was blue and he ordered medium rare. I ordered the shawarma and only could get through half. The pita was dry, the chicken had little to no seasoning and very heavily charred. My friend that ordered the special bruschetta with poached shrimp was served undercooked shrimp. The food runner took this plate back and brought back two better cooked shrimp but at this point my friend no longer was interested. One free dessert was offered to fix this mistake, but we didn’t take them up on the offer. To say the least, we were highly disappointed and would not come back.

The is THE place to go in the area for stellar food and the best cocktails. Their wine list is well-curated. Michael and his team have incredible attention to detail. You'll be impressed with the atmosphere - great lighting, great music, and impeccable design/aesthetics. I love bringing out of town guests here.

Alright, so we've lived in Philly and Chicago, tasted some top-notch food, you know? But The Historian? Man, it's right up there with the best!Started things off with those French deviled eggs – just wow! Then, I went for the tomahawk pork chop, and seriously, it's like they've mastered the art of making pork taste like heaven. Cut into it, and it's as smooth as butter. Me and the hubby gave it a solid "best pork chop ever" vote. ?Hubby tried the hanger steak, and it was pure deliciousness. The flavors, the tenderness – spot on. His old fashioned cocktail was also fabulousAlready planning our next date night at The Historian. It's a no-brainer; we're bringing our friends along for this foodie adventure. Can't wait to dive back into this tasty haven!

We had called ahead, and they had a spot for us ready to go. The service was wonderful despite being as busy as it was.My Tomahawk Chop hit the spot, and the sweet potato puree was very good.

Wonderful! If only we could camp out and be here all the time. A beautiful space and lovely staff- we are already looking forward to our next visit! The entire food menu is impressive and will be very hard to choose when we come for dinner.

$16 for an Old Fashioned is ridiculous.
